My new book, Thou Shalt Not Lie, is now live on Amazon in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover. The Ninth Commandment doesn't just forbid lying — it makes each of us responsible for the claims we repeat. So instead of repeating what we're told about the climate, I went back to the source: the raw U.S. temperature records themselves, using software I wrote to query them directly. What those records actually show is gradual, regionally varied change — not the crisis we've been sold, and not always what the adjusted datasets say. Don't take my word for it. The book shows you the data, the methods, and the failed predictions — and how to check every claim yourself. 📖 amazon.com/dp/B0HN4S2PYG Verify it yourself. #ThouShaltNotLie #ClimateData #VerifyItYourself #USHCN #NOAA #EPA

Thou Shalt not Lie: Finding truth through history, evidence, and personal verification a.co/d/0gHAOrXT #Amazon via @Amazon Truth is not a matter of consensus, convenience, or political fashion. It is a responsibility. In an age where information is abundant, but verification is rare, “Thou Shalt Not Lie” calls readers back to the Ninth Commandment: do not bear false witness — not in court, not in conversation, and not in science. This book explores how unverified claims spread, how history is rewritten, and how scientific ideas are distorted when politics intrudes on evidence. Using Climate Explorer to illuminate more than a century of U.S. climate records, the reader is invited to examine the data directly — to see what is true, what is false, and what has been misrepresented. “Thou Shalt Not Lie” is a guide for anyone who wants to think clearly, verify carefully, and refuse to repeat a lie — even when the lie is popular. @NOAA @EPA @epaleezeldin #Climate

For thousands of years, the Ninth Commandment has warned us against bearing false witness — not only in courts of law, but in every corner of life where truth matters. In an age overflowing with information, the danger is no longer silence. It is the uncritical repetition of claims we have not verified. One of the most subtle forms of deception is misnaming — using words that distort meaning, soften reality, or create false impressions. We see this everywhere in modern life, from marketing language to political rhetoric. When a thing is mislabeled, the mind is misled. When a topic is misnamed, the public is confused. And when a claim is repeated without verification, a lie is born. The purpose of this book is not merely to discuss climate, but to explore the moral responsibility each person carries when confronted with conflicting claims. Truth is not determined by popularity, consensus, or repetition. Truth is discovered through evidence, history, and careful examination. Nowhere is this more important than in subjects where fear, politics, and selective data have shaped public perception. Climate is one such subject. The internet is filled with contradictory statements, failed predictions, and claims that cannot all be true at the same time. Thousands of pages of historical climate records exist, yet few people have the time or tools to examine them. Without visibility into the data, individuals are left vulnerable to persuasion rather than empowered by knowledge. Climate Explorer was created for this reason. Its purpose is to make complex historical data visible, understandable, and accessible — so that anyone, regardless of technical skill, can examine the evidence directly. This book uses Climate Explorer not to tell readers what to believe, but to show them how to verify truth for themselves. In a world where misinformation spreads faster than facts, the Ninth Commandment is more relevant than ever. “Thou shalt not lie” is not merely a religious instruction. It is a call to intellectual honesty, personal responsibility, and the courage to question what we are told. This book invites you to examine the evidence, consider the history, and decide for yourself what is true and what is false. As Ronald Reagan once said, *“Trust, but verify.”*

This book began as a simple idea: people deserve to see evidence for themselves. For years, I watched public discussions about climate drift further away from history, physics, and data, and closer to fear, politics, and repetition. Many of the claims being circulated could not be verified, and many of the predictions being made did not match the historical record. Climate Explorer was created to solve a practical problem. The United States Historical Climatology Network contains more than a century of measurements, yet the raw information is difficult for most people to access or interpret. By making this data visible and understandable, individuals can examine the evidence directly instead of relying on secondhand summaries. This book is not written to persuade, but to illuminate. It is an invitation to think carefully, to verify claims, and to approach complex topics with honesty and responsibility. The Ninth Commandment reminds us that truth is not optional. It is a duty. My hope is that the pages that follow will help readers fulfill that duty with clarity and confidence.

For several years, I have been managing our family photographs, and upon realizing that there was no suitable software to fulfill my specific requirements, I chose to develop my own applications. The source code and the released software are available in a public repository on GitHub: github.com/wtblock/PhotoLega… This video serves as a brief introduction, with more detailed instructional videos to be released subsequently. Meanwhile, a Wiki page is accessible on the GitHub site: github.com/wtblock/PhotoLega… The software’s objective is to label images by embedding information into the metadata and creating duplicates in a Labeled subfolder, thereby preserving the original images unaltered except for their metadata. After arranging the photographs into album folders, another application will compile them into a book format compatible with Amazon Kindle for potential publication. By assigning an ISBN and publishing the book, users ensure that their work is preserved for future generations. I am offering this software to anyone interested in preserving their family history as I have done using this program. Please be aware that, as this is not commercial software, it has not undergone extensive testing. To be precise, the only testing conducted thus far has been on my personal computer, specifically a Surface Laptop 7 with an Intel processor running Windows 11. @github @Microsoft @msdev @MicrosoftHelps @photography #genealogy #photography #family #legacy

The Phone Link application in @Microsoft @Windows 11 serves as an effective utility for connecting a smartphone to the Windows 11 operating system. This video demonstrates various methods for transferring photographs from the phone to the computer. Notably, the straightforward method of selecting a photo within Phone Link and performing a Save As operation results in significant degradation of image resolution and loss of metadata. In the video I am using a @SamsungUS Galaxy S26 Ultra phone.

Since the 1990s, there have been 30 Conference of Parties (COP) meetings aimed at addressing climate change. Given their claim carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuel combustion are the primary cause, this graph illustrates the effectiveness of these conferences. Interestingly, those who have been the most vocal advocates for climate action are now expressing concerns about rising gasoline prices. Despite numerous meetings and ongoing activities such as private jet travel and social events, the overall outcomes suggest limited success in achieving substantial progress. 🤔 – at Friendswood, TX

I am a big fan of Fox News, but their streaming application, Fox One, leaves a lot to be desired. Almost all of the programs I have set to be recorded have not stored a recording for ten days at the time of this recording, May 30, 2026. The typical response of any support organization is to either blame the user or their application. I have duplicated the error on four different platforms: web, phone, TV, and Xbox. The final insult was when I went to their support page and was greeted by you guessed it, an AI assistant. I don't have to tell you how that ended. @watchfoxone @FoxNews @TheFive @SpecialReport @willcain @WillCainShow @OutnumberedFNC – at Friendswood, TX

The Mavic Air 2 drone creates a spherical (360°) photo by automatically taking a carefully planned sequence of overlapping images while rotating and tilting its camera, then stitching them together into a seamless sphere. It does this entirely on its own once you select Pano → Sphere in the DJI Fly app. The final output is a spherical panorama that can be: • Viewed interactively in apps that support 360° images • Uploaded to platforms like Facebook, Google Photos, or VR viewers • Used in mapping, real estate, or immersive storytelling I am using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's Gallery application to view the image in this video. @SamsungMobileUS @Mavic – at Friendswood, TX

Occasionally, @Tesla's navigation does not give me the option to go straight instead of turning at the next intersection. To override this in the past, I would take it out of FSD mode. I have since learned another choice, as illustrated in this video, that does not require exiting FSD. – at Friendswood, TX

To celebrate my Grandson Dean’s birthday, Mary Beth and Casey whisked their kids off to the Great Wolf Lodge in Webster, Texas. Meanwhile, my other Grandson Dax invited me to join him and my Granddaughter Caroline on the Rope Walk adventure. I somehow convinced my creaky old self to climb up onto the platform and used my trusty @Meta Glasses to capture every tricky obstacle along the way. Sadly, the highlight—the long zip line—was out of commission this time. The shorter zip line? Let’s just say it’s no thrill ride. – at Friendswood, TX
