My team at @Meta Superintelligence Labs is hiring two PhD Research Scientist Interns (spring/summer 2027) to build agents for complex, real-world tasks at the frontier of agentic AI. Looking for PhD students with a strong research background in RL for LLMs, reasoning, or agentic systems. Apply here: metacareers.com/profile/job_…

For anyone working on RSI via weight editing, here’s more rigorous prior work worth studying/citing: 1. Arditi et al. Refusal in Language Models Is Mediated by a Single Direction. 2. Meng et al. Locating and Editing Factual Associations in GPT. 3. Hase et al. Does Localization Inform Editing? Surprising Differences in Causality-Based Localization vs. Knowledge Editing in Language Models. 4. Geva et al. Transformer Feed-Forward Layers Are Key-Value Memories. 5. Ilharco et al. Editing Models with Task Arithmetic.
We asked GPT-6 Astra to edit Qwen3.5-0.8B weights to improve math. It directly changed only 0.016% of weights, fixing 0.8B's reasoning loops & improving math up to 6x and even instruction following 3x, without gradients or training. We call this Weight-Space Programming: frontier LLMs can now natively read/write neural network weights! 🧡 Blog: rikiyat.github.io/blog/weigh…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
LLM was given weights explicitly as text in prompt and used code/forward passes (per authors' logs) to ablate Qwen looping direction, a known thinking-mode issue per model card. Primarily fixed repetition in that mode, not general 'natively' improving weights/math. rikiyat.github.io/blog/weight-sp… github.com/RikiyaT/lm_und… huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3.5-0… huggingface.co/RikiyaT/Qwen3.…

Open-weight πŸš€
1/ big announcement today: we will be releasing an open weight version of muse spark 1.2 soon. we also are releasing muse glimmer, a 30B agentic model with open weights under apache 2.0. muse glimmer can run on 24GB of VRAM without losing agentic reliability. 🧡

We're releasing the full LychSim framework: the Python/MCP interface, the C++ UE5 plugin, and our data annotations for 3D objects and scenes. Bottom line -- you don't need to know C++ or UE5 to let UE5 simulation benefit your vision research. πŸ₯°
