Back in the day you could tell the end was nigh for YS with these sorts of simplified covers, and they weren't much more than a pamphlet with such a low page count. I still bought 'em right up to the last issue. ☹️

Freescape was so advanced for it's time. Just a bit slow on the humble ZX Spectrum. But for benchmarking it was a go to game under speccy emulation on the #SAMCoupe when testing my prototype 'Mayhem' Accelerator. So here it's running about 5-6x ZX Spectrum speed...

One of the last ZX Spectrum games I bought in the early 90s before I moved over to the SAM Coupe. £3.99 budget re-release IIRC. Was brill!

F-16 Combat Pilot. This was ported to the SAM Coupe but the full game was never released. A playable demo of it did appear on a mag covertape.

VideoVault - when the membrane on my 48K failed I had them upgrade the machine to a plus. I've still got the warranty tape/label on my case as it's part of the machine's history!

Even back then we were dubious. But still played it for hours. "Don't wing the wong number" though... Christ.

I'm not sure who this band is but they would use a lot of synths and know the entire back catalogue of Genesis
