Just shipped OrderBee. Started from my own problem: no forecasting tool for small European multichannel brands. Either spreadsheet chaos, or overblown ERPs. So I scratched my own itch. I've built and tested it with the team over the last few weeks. Today I’m finally making it publicly available. Would love your support and honest feedback 🙏

Funny how everyone predicted a black monday event. And what do we get? Futures are up, Asian markets too. KOSPI at ~+2%. Let's see if we get a bigger selloff in October for a potential year-end rally.

Need to get a filter asap. Always been told that Dutch tap water is one of the best. Turns out it’s not, the government just defined extremely high levels of PFAS as acceptable. I recommend doing this check by Greenpeace.
Researchers have now found extremely high amounts of PFAS in the majority of Dutch tap water The Netherlands was long known for having some of the cleanest tap water in the world and every Dutch person would drink from it, but that turned out to be false It's full of PFAS! PFAS are per- and polyfluoroalkyl particles also known as "forever chemicals", they're highly toxic They cause an endless list of body ailments like reducing fertility, disrupting your hormonal system, reduced testosterone levels, delayed fetal development, disrupting your immune system, causing cancer, elevating LDL cholestrol, and high blood pressure And even worse maybe mind ailments like anxiety, depression, cognitive decline, ADHD and neurodegeneration Sounds an awful lot like many of the mental ailments everyone in Netherlands is complaining about? A lot of people I know there are burnout, depressed, anxious and definitely low testosterone @GreenpeaceNL lets every Dutch person check their tap water for PFAS My friend did and his tap water is 2-3x over the limit! I can recommend to all my Dutch friends to install an Reverse Osmosis water filter, it's the most rigorous filter out there and removes over 99% of PFAS and microplastics and other contaminants I have a Waterdrop G3P600, as always I am not paid or affiliated, I wish I was cause I'd be rich Did PFAS and a culture of drinking tap water make many Western Europeans weak men? I don't think it's too crazy of a thing to suggest actually!

Dutch government is proposing new income tax system. Moving from taxing assumed gains and wealth to taxing realised capital gains in 2028. But in order to fill the budget whole, they drastically want to lower the tax-free allowance in 2027.

My food brand started selling into Germany this year, with a launch to the biggest supermarket chain. Found out this week: as of Aug 2026, the EU's new packaging law requires us to pay a German "authorised representative". No volume or revenue minimum. Small brands - watch out 👇

On top of that: mandatory LUCID registration, paid recycling license, and now a representative fee. A small Shopify or Etsy store with 10 orders per year has to pay the same fixed costs as a bigger co shipping pallets.

What are the options? - Pay it - Stop selling in the country - Ignore it and risk getting a legal letter (Abmahnung) The crazy thing: None of that reduces waste. It's just a money grab. How do other small brands deal with this? EU insanity...

European governments - take note Instilling a UX mindset is only done by a very few
Impressive. This set of talks, along with the new America dot gov website, has the unmistakable feel of an Apple launch event. They're rebooting the federal government as a tech startup. Several observations. (1) First, with this new AI interface to the entire federal government, if it works as promised, there won't be a single American who can't say their life wasn't helped at least in part by AI, or that the benefits accrued solely to zillionaires. This in itself cannily mitigates anti-datacenter sentiment. (2) Second, Joe Gebbia and Marco Rubio's talks on simplifying name changes and passport filings introduce a completely new era where the US government is actually launching tangible features that benefit users. (3) Third, this launch event in and of itself may visibly drive reform. It could become much more important than the State of the Union. Unlike laws, code is user-visible, and can be instantly audited by the public, as Obama found out with the failed obamacare website launch. So: the annual America dot gov event may be substance, whereas SOTU is traditionally optics. I wouldn't be surprised to see the President present at the next one. (4) Fourth, this kind of event is a perfect example of where tech and red cooperate best. They both hate bureaucracy. Automating paperwork with code reduces the power of statists over both capitalists and nationalists. It's also hard to undo by other admins: once you digitize a process, hard to turn it back to paper. (5) Fifth, it's an obvious point perhaps, but think about how much influence YCombinator has had in 20 years. From Gebbia's Airbnb joining their 2009 batch to a complete overhaul of the user interface of the US bureaucracy, and thus the US government. (6) Sixth, this is another take on the network state. The functional part of the US (the network, meaning tech) is merging with and partially reforming the dysfunctional part (the state, meaning bureaucracy) by automating 20th century paper forms. As a tech startup, there will no doubt be bugs and user issues and so on, but unlike with paper laws those issues will be visible and the code fixes will be verifiable. A new era of AI America. Rooting for them.

Incredible yoy growth. 2026 as well. But immense burn, not sustainable at current levels. It’s gonna be the biggest IPO in history.
ANTHROPIC FILES FOR IPO, PROSPECTUS SEEN BY REUTERS Here’s everything you need to know: Anthropic could seek a valuation above $2 trillion. 2025 financials: Rev: $4.59B, up 1,088% YoY from $386M Oper loss: $8.06B, widening from $2.98B GAAP net loss: $41.97B, vs $8.31B in 2024 That headline $42B net loss needs some context. Roughly $34B came from an accounting charge tied largely to the rising value of financing instruments that could eventually convert into Anthropic shares, rather than cash spent running the business. Even excluding that, the underlying operating losses remain substantial. Anthropic spent $7.33B on compute and infrastructure in 2025, up 190% YoY and nearly 3x the prior year. That alone represented: • 58% of its $12.65B in total operating expenses • Roughly 1.6x its entire annual revenue And the spending is expected to keep climbing. The prospectus outlines roughly $518B in cloud, compute and infrastructure obligations as Anthropic continues building out its AI systems. Anthropic ended 2025 with $20.28B in cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments. Its two largest direct customers each accounted for 12% of revenue, meaning just two customers represented 24% of total 2025 sales. Anthropic also warned that many of its largest customers are not locked into long-term contracts and could reduce or stop spending. At the same time, the filing highlights risks around increasingly autonomous AI systems, including unexpected behavior, security concerns and potential misuse. Anthropic is competing in an increasingly expensive AI race with OpenAI, Google, Meta and xAI. Amazon and Google are also major strategic partners and investors in Anthropic, while supplying much of the cloud infrastructure needed to train and run Claude. The IPO could come after the November U.S. midterm elections and would give public-market investors one of their first pure-play ways to value a frontier AI lab. Source: Reuters

Anthropic is back baby. Feels like OpenAI was ahead for only like 2 weeks. The head to head is a net positive for all users.
