And this is why 🥳. Feminist theory, & women being bicultural.

A women would have kicked that bottle out of her hands the first time. And this is why we should talk about the Cornell 57 not just the 7. Silence is complacency
Watching this and realising Megan never stood a chance. ☹️

kind of surprised by the number of people who didn’t know that a huge portion of hollywood either sided with chris brown or coddled him. rihanna was being attacked from every side. people love to say that moment ruined his career, but most of his success came after that.

Y'all so damn dramatic! You can read and write longer, more complex, and sophisticated text again! Y'all aren't fixed creatures. You can adapt and evolve. You don't have to adopt this learned helplessness. What you need to do is replace toxic habits with more productive ones.

I remember when I used to bartend at JR Crickets him & his cousin came in and stayed my whole shift talking shit with my regulars and me 😂 super nice guy and he tipped me good. Had me FaceTiming all my friends talking about he my cousin 😂😂
Marshawn Lynch says he never bought into fame, so instead of dropping $10,000 on bottle service, he fights for the bartender’s attention like everybody else
“I never believed or bought into that fame… we pull up to the spot, and if we do go out, it ain’t like I’m going to go drop five, ten bands on the table and have hella bottles popping and all that.”
“I’m be right there at the bar. So the same John, Joe or Marvin that’s at the bar trying to order a drink, we competing to try to see who could get in the bartender face.”
“But look, if they come over here and you get them, just tell them you want three Hennessies, bro.”

funnily enough, i tweeted this while i was at a birthday party where i barely knew anyone besides the birthday girl and a few other girls. anyway, i’m now home when the bday girl randomly calls me and the first thing she asks is if i found any of the guys attractive. i laughed because it was an incredibly random question and told her i honestly hadn’t really paid attention to them.
she then tells me that apparently a bunch of guys thought i was really pretty and that there were going to be lots of broken hearts. my first thought was well why the hell didn’t any of them come talk to me?
which is exactly my point!! i understand approaching a girl can be intimidating but this wasn’t even a cold approach; we were literally at a birthday party, the whole point of these social settings is to meet people and socialize. i would’ve been more than happy to talk to any of them.
it’s incredibly flattering to hear that men find you attractive, but what good does that do if none of them have the balls to actually approach you? gentlemen, you’re missing opportunities simply because you’re too scared to say hello.

Y’all know the difference between an Italian, French, Spanish, British, Irish, Greek, Romanian, German, Norwegian…
You can pick up on accents, dialects, lingo of people from different states…
But Africa is where you draw the line at distinctions lmaooo. The white man’s education (or lack thereof) did a number on the masses.

Stay home. I can tell from these tweets that you would absolutely kill the vibes
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long.
Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

Real Louisiana red beans & rice vs. Popeyes. This is the best way I could compare the two.

This is actually a condescending view of working-class people. I grew up in a working-class immigrant family and we ate at Red Lobster and The Cheesecake Factory for "fancy nights out." But even we understood that the White House should not look like the inside of a Red Lobster. Working-class people are not culturally illiterate just because their experiences are shaped by their limited means.
