Today at work I was doing a neuro assessment on a lady who had a stroke. When assessing smile symmetry I said, “show me your teeth.” She pointed at the table and said, “they’re over there in my purse.”

One of my wokest birth opinions is that I do think it’s kinda better not to call it “natural” childbirth and call it unmedicated or something instead. I don’t think anyone means anything rude by it but I think it’s nice to be sensitive about deeply personal, important things like that idk
