I've uninstalled the game, and you should too.
Leave a review while you're at it on whatever platform you may play on.

Please, if you’re serious about making your voice heard to dead by daylight. Uninstall the game. I’m so serious. When the pop up asking why come up tell them it’s because of their actions! They will have to address it losing player counts.

On a more positive note I'm very happy to see so many members of the DBD community standing up against bigotry. Knowing the community for the most part is filled with such accepting and nice individuals makes me feel lucky to be a part of it and hopefully it stays this way.

God I am absolutely so so so devastated seeing what has happened the past two days in the DBD community. I am so absolutely sorry to everybody who has been attacked by these bigots with slurs and insults. Please remember we have better lives than these fucking FREAKS.
what's crazy is that on top of all this happening, DBD is getting reviewbombed....by burntpeanut fans??????
on top of ALL of this, both parties are negatively reviewing the game.
One is for the harassment we faced
The other is the "bending the knee" asmongold shit
???

We've heard your response to our recent communications, and we know that right now solid action is what's needed.
We wanted to shed some light on the next steps the Dead by Daylight team is taking to address the current state of the game.

How to unlock every DLC in DBD for free (unpatched 2026 guide):
1.) Say a slur
2.) Get endorsement from a drunk developer
3.) Profit
Update: Due to mounting heat, and changing internal policies, these requirements may change.

it was only a matter of time. @DeadbyDaylight you deserve all of this.
Asmongold reacts to the Dead by Daylight developers folding under 0 pressure after promoting TheBurntPeanut
"So basically Dead by Daylight promoted TheBurntPeanut and gave him a bunch of skins and everything in the game. People got mad about it and Dead by Daylight was like, we can handle this. We don't care. It's not a big deal."
"What these people have done is collectively gotten together to chimp out over a peanut being accepted by the Dead by Daylight developers. Everybody is crying about this. It's another example of these people that get together and they collectively bully a developer by crashing out on social media for a couple of days, and they make a developer do something differently."
"So they folded under zero pressure. That's basically what happened. This is why I think that we need to be so aggressive against these people. If we're not aggressive against these people, these people will dominate the conversations and they will define the culture because they do jump out, they do crash out."
"Every single hostile, negative, psychotic comment that you guys make, as long as it's not encouraging violence, I'm pretty much in favour of. You guys need to come out and be a lot more outspoken about this, because unless you want to have every single community run by performative drag queens. What these people really care about is control and power. And they are bullies. And until they are made to stop, they will not stop."
"There is no world in which you can coexist with these people. You either have to take the culture back out of their hands that they are trying to define, or you should expect them to define every aspect of your life and culture and then tell you how you need to behave. These people are genuinely a malignant cancer into any community and any area that they touch. They get together and they bully a company like this, and then the company capitulates to them, and then it creates a feedback loop."

You've done more than let this community down, everyone who has spoken up against this has been bombarded by slurs & has been made to feel less safe in a community they have been apart of for up to 10 years.
So, how about we take a moment and do a heat checkpoint?
Who all would like to share all of the heat they received as a result of BHVR's decision this weekend?
This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.

Due to recent actions from the Dead by Daylight team and their lackluster response with little damage control, especially not posting on their main, (my acc is larger btw.) I will not be purchasing the Terrifier chapter until sizable actions are made to prevent this again.
What makes the disappointment so much worse about this is that we are only a few weeks away from Art’s release.
This has ruined what was going to be an incredibly fun release for many of us. I’ve already seen lots of folks uninstall and jump ship.
It will take a lot to fix PR
