Please, if you’re serious about making your voice heard to dead by daylight. Uninstall the game. I’m so serious. When the pop up asking why come up tell them it’s because of their actions! They will have to address it losing player counts.

Heads up for fellow horror co-op lovers: I recently learned that Demonologist’s developer (Clock Wizard Games) uses generative AI for some of its assets and images anddddd they currently do not have that disclosed on Steam.
I personally don’t support gen AI in games, but you do you! I just wanted people to be able to make an informed choice :3
Some non Gen AI alternatives:
Metaphysical
Forewarned
Phasmophobia
Devour

This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.

Guys…
The only thing that works is fucking with their money.
If you want real change hit them where it hurts.
Don’t play it.
Don’t stream it.
Uninstall.
That’s the solution.

further to this, if you’re in the creator program and bhvr has proven they no longer align with your values you can remove yourself.
i personally wrote an email articulating my reasons for leaving and you can do the same.

I just know I'm going to be SO disappointed with many of my favorite dbd creators this week. The cc program has become so coveted that people are going to turn their back on their morals to stay in dbd's good graces.

Replying to @DbDPulse @parasitebee_
Something happened outside the normal channels and your first reaction was to just dismiss claims and concerns?!?
What?? Like literally why would you admit you just ignored it until the following day after hours of your core community being harassed.
Makes 0 sense
like lets be so honest. this is a NOTHING response. "were looking internally" has ALWAYS been their response to complete betrayal they've done to their player base time and time again. we NEED to see action. this is not enough.
