Integrated CBTE improves outcomes for anorexia nervosa - YouTube Thinking about this presentation we did with ⁦@sensinglorna⁩. It’s hard for people to share their experiences publicly, but it’s important to give hope to others who may feel hopeless youtube.com/watch?v=fHsmGNiB…

Obama: "That well-known evil empire Canada. That historical adversary of ours. Canada! *laughs* It's your neighbor. It's a few minutes' drive over the bridge! These are the people who gave us Martin Short and maple syrup. They are the nicest people! And someone we've gotten them so mad."

I will say this- again. In a safety critical 'industry' like healthcare? Lesser trained staff usage-at scale-will cause harm. You will 'get away with it' a lot of times. Yet all it needs is 'one miss'. And the higher training reduces the chance of that 'one' - it's what training is all about. If you don't understand that? You fail safety issues And you fail as an educator and trainer. Thank you @JanetEastham for continuing to raise the issue. The irony? Every single person responsible for such decisions regards 'what the public can have' - reaches out to a doctor when they need help for their loved one. 'Cake for me. None for you.'
Dylan Cope died after an A&E nurse practitioner mistook his abdominal pain for flu, having ignored his GP’s referral for suspected appendicitis. His family thought she was a doctor. A coroner found he would have survived had a senior doctor examined him. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

The head of HR who employed Mr Amroliwala to conduct an ‘independent’ inquiry without mentioning that they were in business relationship? Very odd

Dusty Amroliwala himself has been an NHS trust chair (scandal prone North Middx) & NED (troubled BHRUT) I hope in view of independent review findings about his report on Dr Redvers, whistleblower, he doesn't find his way back to senior positions in NHS thetimes.com/article/cfde7b4…
Dusty Amroliwala author of the criticised report against Dr Redvers, is partner at Ekim Consulting Another partner is Amanda Amroliwala (née Mandie Campbell, former CEO PHSO & Theresa May's immigration enforcer at Home Office for 'hostile environment') ekimconsulting.com/team-main

The protective ring….was a crematory ring. Failure to have pandemic care home policy in place by the then Secretary of State for Health. We were all lied to publicly and from the podium. It is now time to hold account…….step up…… Matt and Boris.
BREAKING: Covid inquiry chair, Baroness Heather Hallett, says that action to protect care homes came too late causing it to "spread like wildfire". Live updates: trib.al/rq3oWgR 📺 Sky 501

This is what Ekim Consulting, Dusty Amroliwala's company, says about its trade in healthcare and how its people's NHS links service that trade, including their role in "sensitive and complex investigations": ekimconsulting.com/healthcar…

The courts and tribunals are one of the most important arenas in which the gender wars are being fought out. And one of the most important aspects of litigation is that it happens in public.

"It seems to me that a decision has been made to replace doctors and to remove distinctions between doctors and other professions. It's no coincidence that the NHS continues to struggle with efficiency, productivity, and safety problems while we progress further towards a blended workforce without the necessary training supervision or regulation." If you want to see how the captured NHS gang together to bully doctors who actually do their job of ‘first do no harm’ … read this. I was investigated by the NHS, called a transphobe and thought of suicide thetimes.com/article/cfde7b4…

78 young people harmed by the NHS because managers would rather harass Dr Redvers out of a job than deal with the Wild West of gender medicine. Dr Redvers is right to call this a medical scandal.
Good report on the employment tribunal of Dr Sarah Redvers and the medical scandal at WellBN Brighton, from Alison Holt at the BBC.

Just because euthanasia is legal in some jurisdictions, it does not make it moral or safe.

Why are humans so imperfect? Well - we’re thrilled to welcome Prof. Laurence Hurst to discuss this exact topic. His lecture: "The evolution of imperfection: the science of why we aren’t and can’t be perfect" Part of the the 8th EvPsych International Symposium; 6th of November, London. Further details in link:

A flat stomach is a better health goal than big arms, and the data back it up. In a study of nearly 360,000 Europeans, the men with the largest waists had about twice the risk of death and the women about 1.8 times, even after accounting for BMI. Belly fat matters because the fat cells around the organs are often overfilled and insulin resistant, and they release their fat directly toward the liver. The way to shrink them is to bring insulin down, which means cutting refined carbs, eating protein and lifting.

Turing showed that life can be patterned by diffusion-reaction chemistry - flowing particles. But similar patterns emerge from interference of mechanical waves. And interfering electromagnetic waves ripple across the brain to orchestrate thought. Pattern transcends modality.
Seeing sounds and hearing shapes. These Chladni-inspired patterns show how particles settle where vibrations are still, turning frequencies into pure geometry. If we are all just vibrations, what kind of pattern are we creating? Credit: generomics

Referrals to secondary care from GPs used to be treated as they were, requests for further support, investigations, and advice from one experienced colleague to another They have now, to the detriment of patients, been treated as merely optional This cannot continue
New Substack 🗒️ Dodging Blows Referral was meant to be a dance between two clinicians. These days it feels more like a boxing match, with the exhausted GP's guard up, protecting their already battered body . Who wins when everyone is fighting? davetriska.substack.com/p/do…
