A six-minute E-2 test fire has been completed successfully as the team develops systems for E-2 Vacuum. This test demonstrated the propulsion system's ability to sustain a representative burn duration needed to raise spacecraft to higher energy orbits. The engine operated at nominal conditions, including the first 200 seconds at 102 bar chamber pressure while gimbaling.
Propellants: LOX/Kerosene
Thrust: 23k lbf (10.4 tf)
Isp Sea Level: 290 s
Isp Vacuum (SL nozzle): 327 s
Isp E-2 Vacuum: 365 s
Cycle: Ox-Rich Staged Combustion

One thing that stood out to me from the forecast milestones slides was mention of producing the solid rocket boosters for Artemis VI. This implies that this mission would be using SLS rather than a commercial alternative.
I know the agency's focus right now should be on talking about Artemis III and IV, but it'd be interesting to see when they could give more clarity on what's happening after Artemis V. On paper, it's a transition to commercial providers. But, then again, see the above comments.

Good Saturday Morning!
An FAA NOTAM has been issued for a 135 ft crane at the lagoon this Monday, Oct 26, from 7 AM to 3 PM ET. Looks like Monday could be the big day!
The truck and blue transport trailer have been moved to the Complex. One of the metal structures seen in the yard recently has been loaded onto the trailer.

Hours after arriving to Pad 2, Starship Booster 22 received a "Chopstick Hug" and was lifted onto the Orbital Launch Mount ready for some static fire testing over the coming day, ahead of Flight 15.

According to Jeremy Parsons, NASA's Artemis Program Manager, during yesterday's press conference Starship's 15th flight will be carrying upgraded Raptor 3 engines based on the lessons learned from some of the earlier version 3 flights and that should make them more reliable.
Lift!
B22 has been lifted onto the Pad 2 OLM in preparation for testing. Boca Chica beach closures have been posted for October 25th & 26th, 6am-6pm CT.

Just under 5 months after getting damaged during the static fire anomaly, the tower at Launch Complex 36 is fully stacked again, following repairs and upgrades. Just one is a list of milestones we should be seeing in the coming weeks as Blue Origin prepares to return New Glenn and the pad to flight operations.

Hopefully about a month from now it's going to be "get the heck out of Pad 2, Booster 22!!!!" because a ship catch will be next 🙂
