I would never publicly discuss how I personally secure any Bitcoin I may or may not hold.
And neither should you.
Never disclose your wealth or the details of your security setup.
For me, that’s both a spiritual principle and a security necessity.
But it’s too late for me.
At some point, I’ll stop discussing these matters publicly, once I’ve shared everything I want to pass on.
That’s also why I’ll be open-sourcing the books I’m currently writing, so the knowledge and resources are accessible to everyone.
No sponsorship.
No monetization.
No upsell.
No business model.
I’ve been given everything I want.
Now I want to pass it on.
In the meantime, I think most Bitcoiners should aspire to this level of self-custody security:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s irresponsible to not own bitcoin.
First, companies will say, “We accept bitcoin.”
Then, they’ll say, “We only accept bitcoin.”
Then people will not value dollars or fiat, and there will be a run on the banks.
Eventually, the world will never be the same.
The individuals and companies that are ready for the seismic shift will come out ahead.
Those that are left holding legacy currency will not.

There’s 2 types of “taxes” governments use to plug deficits.
1) Tax on income and
2) property confiscation
Confiscation has 2 types:
- Debasement which hits the poor who save in cash and do not own assets
- Wealth taxes which targets the rich who don’t own money, they own the means of production
The former makes the poor poorer and leads to civil war and revolution
The latter destroys the means of production, the economy collapses and the country fails

Gold is 32 Trilly.
The greatest delusion exported by US Government and amplified by Wall St is that gold is a financial asset.
It was money for 1000s of years.
If it had continued to back all the world’s money today it would be worth 103T.
That’s what BTC is going for ($5M per coin in today’s money).
The global fiat experiment is 55 years old vs 1000s of years for hard money.
Seems like a long shot, even delusional, from the perspective anyone living in modern financial times, but not for students of history.

A city in Oregon was forced to permanently remove its Flock cameras after an audit found that federal agencies had access to the system.
The audit revealed that two federal agencies could access the data, including the ability to search the broader network of license plate records for up to six months.
Flock cameras are used as a mass surveillance tool under the guise of public safety.

This is a 2 minute video about taxing the wealthy.
There is no mention of programs it will fund. Or why the tax dollars are needed. Or what the money would be used for. Or how those less fortunate could be supported to themselves become wealthy.
The benefits are no longer the point.
The implicit message is about punishment. Punishing those doing well is now good politics.
