True, Steve. Either you want to take risks or you don’t. Not everyone is the same, and we all have different circumstances and priorities.
Taking risks doesn’t automatically equate to success, just as choosing to stay within your comfort zone doesn’t mean failure.
Not everyone measures success the same way.
For some, success means taking risks and achieving ambitious goals. For others, it’s finding stability, peace and contentment after years of challenges.
I spent the last 10 years taking risks and overcoming challenges. I got burned out. So now I’m happy being in my comfort zone to recover.
Neither is necessarily wrong. That’s the context these motivational quotes so often leave out. 😊

I agree with the underlying sentiment, but I think it’s a little too simplistic.
For me, believing in yourself means understanding your capabilities, recognising your strengths and having the confidence to work towards your goals.
However, things don’t always work out as we hope or plan. That’s where believing in yourself becomes particularly important. It means being willing to adapt, learn from setbacks and find another way forward.
Faith, purpose and passion can provide motivation, but we also need realistic expectations, practical strategies and adaptability.

Don’t stop, Gary! I’m 65 and have only just started putting the strategies in place to achieve another of my dreams: owning my own apartment.
We’re never too old to pursue new goals, embrace opportunities or keep believing in ourselves. ❤️

I agree, Gary. I believe it is possible, particularly if we all take greater accountability for our actions and their consequences.
Social media can be toxic or helpful, depending on how we choose to use it.
Rather than sharing quotes that are unrealistic, misleading or lacking important context, we should take responsibility for fact-checking what we share before hitting post.
And when we encounter misleading information, we should be willing to question and challenge it, respectfully and constructively.
That’s one practical step towards challenging echo chambers and building a thoughtful, compassionate community online.
Then taking those same values into our offline world.
At the end of the day, I believe it’s the people who were willing to stand up, challenge what was wrong and work towards making the world a better place who will be remembered.

Yes, I too challenge people
Not everyone wants to move humanity forward
Some seize the light to create dark, for:
Destruction
Disorder
Chaos
Our job is to know such people
& their wily ways…
Then use our light to counteract such negativity
& over-shine them in pure brilliance

Our future isn’t shaped only by decisions.
It’s shaped by our words, our thoughts, and our actions.
By the time you read this, you’ve already influenced tomorrow… so be mindful of what you think, say, and do.

In silence and quiet meditation, we hear the whisper of our consciousness gently reminding us that there is still so much within us waiting to be discovered.
