Nothing a £2 bus fare wont fix !
Andy Burnham makes it very clear on @GMB today
The British public are the "bosses" and ultimately it is up to them if we rejoin.
But concedes it HAS weakened our economy and weakened our ability to control immigration.

This 👇🏼 like vat tax on private schools, (the only nation that taxes education)… all the student politics greed & envy laws just reduce income revenue, & lose jobs! Imbecilic economics
The Laffer Curve strikes again. Rachel Reeves’s absurd increases to stamp duty have backfired after tax receipts from property sales above £5m fell by £541m in the 18 months following her 2024 budget when she raised the second-home stamp duty surcharge to 5%.
Data from estate agents Knight Frank show that in the 18 months subsequent to the budget, the number of sales above £5m dropped by 14% from 2,569 to 2,208, when compared with the 18 months before the budget. Of course it is not just the stamp duty that is lost but also the economic activity that accompanies the property transactions.
Reeves has just signed up to the Chartwell Speakers agency to sell speeches for money. Surely for anyone to buy a speech from her is a badge of idiocy?

Britain has done more than any other country to eradicate slavery. Enough is enough.
Reform UK will ban visas from countries that continue to demand reparations.
Trouble is Ryanair have shown you can be very profitable without looking after customers. BA has a captive monopoly in the UK , That is what needs to change to get service back up as we see in the Middle East, Asia and even N America

They don’t give a sh1t about their customers, worst it’s ever been. The rot is at the top! Arrogance beyond words

COLUMN: With freight rates ballooning to prohibitively expensive levels, the global physical oil market is breaking apart.
Now, it’s all about location, location, location: depending of where, crude today costs $70 a barrel — or $150 a barrel.

I visited three years ago @akw_anthony Hopefully will revisit pre Indaba in February 2027. Great trip; Different beast now.
if you get the opportunity to visit which I did this August you will be even more bullish. Having a lot of very good meetings this week with @Andrada_Mining
#ATM @Andrada_Mining This is exactly when and why you invest in a mining company. All that work, all that capital deployed has finally resulted in the first net profit. £8.3m gross profit and £2.5m net after tax.
And this is just the beginning. There is a fully funded expansion programme. This will grow production from the current 1150t p/a run rate to circa 1800t p/a run rate. net profits will grow to $12.5m on a $50 000 tin price....on a 100 year mine life. Fabulous maths. (this doesn't include the potential of high grade or the tantalum credit)
And then we have two other projects each having huge value being worked up and financed by two mining titans, SQM and ACAM.
We are due a plethora of news over the next 6 months re. drilling results on Lithium Ridge, the next phase of SQMs investment.
Brandberg West, drilling results and bulk sampling results on the tailings, waste ore and fresh rock...then ACAMs move into phase 2 of the investment.
Had a good meeting yesterday hosted by @AmonkMonkey Everything on track and ticking along nicely.
Capital structure and balance sheet in fine shape. Nothing holding this back now. londonstockexchange.com/news…
And i hope the meeting you just had with them at our offices re enforced your view

@Andrada_Mining #ATM @AnthonyViljoen Very up beat note out from Roger Bell at Hannam. The company is in prime shape. Making cash, growing production and reducing costs. Big step change coming up. And this is just the core business.
Two other projects, critical minerals, both being worked using partners capital. Namely SQM and ACAM. Drilling and phase 2 investment news due in both Lithium Ridge and Brandberg West

The Govt gets that high taxes deter smoking. They get that high alcohol taxes reduce demand for drinking. Yet they don’t understand that taxing work destroys employment. The “Labour” party is thoroughly gaslighting us through its own name!
