If son fails Maths, don't give tuition or make him study. Have him round up all failed kids, do Mark-chori dharna at school gate, march to Principal office with "Teachu, it's done bro" placard & demand resignation in 2 days (i.e. 38 hours). Follow me for more parenting tips.

🧵THREAD | Read every single post in this thread carefully. | Independent journalists are being widely praised for their coverage of the ongoing protests in Delhi. But what lies behind this carefully cultivated image of independence? These journalists openly give protesters a platform, take their side during confrontations, and even obstruct police action. Their conduct during protests is there for everyone to see. I decided to put some of these self-proclaimed independent journalists to the test. Using a fake email ID, I approached several of them with a proposal to create Instagram videos for the SP ahead of the 2027 UP elections. What happened next? They responded with work samples and quoted their prices for producing political content. I’m sharing screenshots of the email replies I received from each of them as evidence. Meet journalist Mamta Singh. You may have frequently seen her videos on the media outlet News Capsule. Mamta Singh quoted ₹40,000 for a single reel. 1/

German police. No women police for women. Do wrong, police will deal. No gender No easy cute handling. No problem for UN, CNN, BBC, Hindu, Indian Express, Al Jazeera. In India, women police for women. Police getting hit, uniform torn, women police getting elboed, pushed, and slapped. The world media comes crashing down. Why??
German police aren't here to play games. A pro-Hamas activist wanted to set the city on fire, but the officer dived onto her and pinned her down. More of this, please. 🇩🇪

.@sreemoytalukdar Hypothetically if India government yields to Starlink - what would be Congress’ stand. Instead of barbs on X @RahulGandhi should clearly spell out his position on the matter.
This was Congress's position in 2025.

Flight was Flight FZ1073. PIlot was Smit Machcchar. “Who was the co-pilot?” “Why do you want to know?” “Just curious, O!” “He may be of Omani origin.” “Fine, but what’s his name?” “Sorry, we can’t tell you.” “Why not?” “Because he deserves privacy, buddy.” #Flydubai #SmitMachchhar

Yes...
⚠️ IF THAT FLYDUBAI PLANE HAD CRASHED… 1️⃣ The Indian pilot would have been blamed instantly. 2️⃣ Racists would have flooded social media with “Indian pilots” narratives before investigators even reached the wreckage. 3️⃣ Pakistani troll accounts would have amplified it, turning a tragedy into another India-bashing opportunity. 4️⃣ AI171 and the Phuket incidents would have been dragged in as evidence of a “pattern of behaviour” of Indian pilots. 5️⃣ Every unrelated Indian aviation incident would suddenly have become part of a narrative about supposedly “unsafe Indian pilots”. 6️⃣ Meanwhile, Oman’s lack of any meaningful history of aviation terrorism would have been used to bolster the India pilot angle. 7️⃣ If Indian pilot Capt Smit hadn’t survived & fought back to save the plane, the world would have got an entirely different story.

The reply made Vir Sanghvi look so so stupid !
It wasn't as simple as you're now making it out to be, Mr @virsanghvi. The allegations went far beyond Gyanesh Kumar being a "dictator," and it's disingenuous to suggest otherwise. Dictatorial people aren't unusual in any walk of life, including the media, where some editors were notorious for their imperiousness. That alone doesn't make a person tainted or their intentions mala fide. But the attacks weren't really against Gyanesh Kumar. They were against the institution of @ECISVEEP and, by extension, the government and the BJP. The insinuation was that the EC facilitated "Vote Chori" to keep or bring the BJP to power at the Centre and in the states. Gyanesh Kumar, whom you called an "old stooge" of those in power, was cast as the chief architect of this nefarious operation, even riding roughshod over his "dissenting" colleagues. This was also the crux of the LoP's grand press conference. There he displayed photos resembling a rogues' gallery: PM @narendramodi, Home Minister @AmitShah, their cabinet colleagues, businessmen and even a yoga guru, all shown alongside Gyanesh Kumar as accomplices and key players. The BJP is alleged to be the direct and selective beneficiary of this conspiracy, though SIR was conducted even in states where the BJP wasn't in power or didn't win, such as Keralam and TN. So the party has every right to refute the charge that it holds power by manipulating the system with the help of a pliant official. In doing so @rsprasad and @BJP4India are not speaking on behalf of anyone - but reassuring their own constituents who could be misled by sustained malicious propaganda. Gyanesh Kumar doesn't need to defend himself personally. His primary responsibility is to protect the institution's credibility and preserve the confidence of the people who have placed their trust in the EC. He has done that, albeit belatedly. Some may even argue it was "too little, too late." But one wonders: why are some eminent public intellectuals and opinion makers "of consequence" so quick to latch on to conspiracy theories about this government, without waiting for the facts to be sifted from mischievous fiction. After being called out they “doth protest too much”. CC: @rwac48 #GyaneshKumar #ElectionCommissionOfIndia

For all those who emerged from our education system with degrees in the Humanities but did not become communists, leftists, entitled little whackjobs - I have nothing but respect. You must have read the same biased books, had the same sociopaths as peers; how did you manage it?

After independence, India hated Muslims so much that their population rose from 10 percent to 22 percent. And After independence, Pakistan loved Hindus so wholeheartedly that their population dropped from 22 percent to 2 percent. Did I write something wrong? Hatred caused the population to rise, while love caused it to fall. 🤔🤔

Indeed, Puneet!
The IIT Mumbai exam case reminds me of my own experience in one of the exams during my engineering course at Ujjain. I wanted to remember a complicated thermodynamics formula and scribbled it on my palm. I mugged it up through my travel to the college. Once inside the exam hall, I realised that I forgot to wash my hands. So I tried to rub it off with an handkerchief. Professor Khan saw me. He came close to me and said-- Kyon pakistan ki madad karna chahte ho? (Why do you wish to help Pakistan?) Implication being, a weak mechanical engineer will make faulty machines and instruments and will help our enemy nations. I apologised and explained that I had no intention of cheating. I just forgot to wash my hands. He sent me out to wash my hands. And now, here is IIT, the most prestigeous technical institute of the country. And a professor is being punished for stopping someone from blatant cheating. Even facing an SC/ST act for doing his duty. Obviously, loss of a young life is sad. But the way political party leaders are circumventing the real issue is shameful. Sanctity of higher education must not be sacrificed for political agendas. @IITmumbai @ajeetbharti @AnuraagGPurohit @talk2anuradha @AnumohanG @tehseenp

Low margin is the new consolation prize and also moral victory ✌️☺️
It doesn't matter that @nsui has lost the #DUSU elections. It's performance has been credible against huge odds. I was in DU when it was an ABVP bastion (in the name of JVM). The low margins of ABVP victory this year shows that students are not buying ideas blindly.. That's a good sign for all of India because DU hostels send messages across the country.
