I still believe though, that saying “his community is bad” isn’t true and there’s a narrative being pushed to make it worse and the response to it has been more of each side attacking each other.
But that’s just me leaving it open to discussion 🫠
Never in my life have I seen such a spineless company to be letting a community grip them by the balls over unproven allegations without doing their own research first.. it sets such a destructive precedent.

This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.
BHVR interacted with Peanut > DBD community didn’t like it > started attacking Peanut > Peanuts community attacked back > DBD community blames BHVR.

I really hope no one forgets or forgives what @DeadbyDaylight has done. Absolutely insane move to target such a hateful community knowing and backing down on it. A shitty apology posted on Twitter won’t fix the damage either
So glad I uninstalled DBD, I was way too generous in streaming it over the last 5 years, love the game, but I have nothing but pure hatred for the community 🫠
Yet they are super quick to jump on Peanut for his use of the F slur years ago, but still associate with those certain streamers who said racist slurs years ago.
The hypocrisy is funny and yet none of them seem to have done their own due diligence to find out for themselves

Sales figures like this will always be impossible to calculate, you have the physical crowd who lend, trade and sell their games, you have the digital crowd who library share on top of that.
The attachment rate of a game would show better statistics than just raw sales. 🫠
Physical wins over digital EVERYDAY of the week.. and this is only what I can fit in my shelves, I have 10x this in boxes I rotate yearly whenever I want.
