The United States maintains an ambiguous stance regarding Israel’s alleged nuclear program. The matter remains highly classified, with no public evidence proving Jerusalem’s nuclear capabilities.
Piers seemed quite distressed by this nuance, and that the Israeli government had not disclosed classified information to @BlaiseMisztal, an American policy expert at a U.S. think tank.
We direct Piers to Secretary of State @marcorubio’s June 2026 hearing:
“They’ve never acknowledged to having a nuclear program,” and while there is “open source and reporting about what they may possess, and speaking frankly, most of the world assesses that they do. But they’ve never acknowledged that publicly. As a feature of our foreign policy, for a variety of reasons, we don’t discuss it in that way either.”

Yep. The data is pretty clear. El Sayed underperformed relative to his Democratic peers in Michigan. This was a once in a lifetime election. You can't count on a tidal wave every time.

In Huntington Woods, Michigan’s most concentrated Jewish community and a reliable blue stronghold, at least 1 in 7 voters who backed Democrat Jocelyn Benson for governor also voted for Republican Mike Rogers for Senate. In the rest of Oakland County, it was about 1 in 100.

Former Michigan Governor Jim Blanchard — a longtime friend and supporter of Haley Stevens — says he was having dinner on Friday with Stevens and her fiancé, and that Stevens was excited to attend the church service with Jim Clyburn and Abdul El-Sayed.
Blanchard said that Stevens’ fiancé, Jason Turkish, began chiding her at the dinner.
“He was working her over. The way he was saying it was, ‘Everyone is disappointed in you, they did everything they could to help you and then immediately after you lose the primary, you endorsed him.’”
“He was all distraught,” he said.
“He was all strung out about Abdul. I let her know, he’s not a good influence.”
Blanchard remained in touch with Stevens throughout the weekend and expected her to attend the church service. He only found out from the news that she was at the service with Rogers and endorsing him.
“Something snapped in her. And it snapped in 24 hours,” Blanchard told Zach Gorchow of State Affairs.
“And I don’t know what.”
Blanchard, clearly pained by the situation, said several times, “This is not the Haley I know.”
He lamented Turkish’s “terrible political judgment.”

This is a rational response that keeps at least some ability to shape change in the Democratic Party. Anything less just reads as pettiness and will lead to even stronger efforts to push out Democrats who fear the party being overrun by antisemites.

Hasan Piker's latest online rant targeting Michiganders in West Bloomfield Township, comparing the community to the KKK, should be condemned loudly. It is anti-semitic, divisive and deeply offensive.
I get that this is what he does for attention. But flippantly attacking a proud, diverse community — not to mention a political organizer doing the most American of things in our democratic process — reveals how misguided and uninformed he actually is about Michigan.
El-Sayed had the opportunity for a last ditch effort at attracting Jewish Michiganders who would normally be eager to support a Democrat. Instead, he seems hellbent on driving them away.
