Men’s hands can’t be strong when God rises up: the strongest have no power to resist him, nor can any deliver out of his hands.

In order to discredit the orthodox Reformed confession Arminius consistently treated us as though we were all suprlapsarian (i.e., that God considered humans as potentials and not as fallen creatures regarding election). His followers (and I suspect he as well) have consistently presented the Reformed view as though we walk around trying to figure out whether we are elect. Have some done this? Yes. Is it what we confess? No. Is it the best of our tradition? No.
Don't become the caricature drawn of us.

🚨BREAKING: Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin was caught on undercover video admitting that Democrats already have “signature cases” lined up for every committee so they can prosecute President Trump and members of his cabinet the moment they take the majority.
In the recording, Slotkin said her party is prepared to go after the most “egregious” actions as soon as they regain power. She revealed that she traveled to Hungary specifically to study how officials there handled the removal of what she called an “authoritarian leader,” and she named targets that include the White House ballroom, the reflecting pool, and $200 million in Defense Department spending.
“That’s what you’ll see basically in January,” she said on the video. The comments show Democrats openly planning to use congressional committees as tools for criminal prosecution rather than oversight the second they control the House.

We are Protestants and we continue to protest anything and everything that sets itself up against the Word of God, adds to the finished work of Christ, or robs God of His glory. It makes no difference whether it comes from Rome, from the pulpit down the road, or from our own hearts. Scripture alone is our final authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17), salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), and God has said, “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another” (Isaiah 42:8).
