Cat check: The National Centre for Information Defence will be tasked with tackling Russian disinformation. It's unclear why Farage, whose former colleague Nathan Gill is currently in prison for accepting bribes to make pro-Russian statements, is against this.

Observe how Nigel Farage's Praetorian Guard in the media - who vilified Keir Starmer over the gift of a tie and glasses - seek to normalise £72m of crypto in a day. Suspect British journalists will, on the whole, do the opposite.
An astonishing £72 million pours into @reformparty_uk funds in 24 hours. The money could be a game changer. Write off @Nigel_Farage at your peril

Ah the next stage of the Trumpian plan. When you’re likely to be judged as having done something wrong, attack the judge. Britain is not the USA. We will not fall for this playbook.
The Parliamentary Standards Commissioner is well intentioned but no longer fit for purpose
It is being used as the Parliamentary Smear Service
It needs major reform

Good evening
@andyburnham. Will extra funding be given to housing authorities across England affected by these fires? It might also be helpful if advice can go to housing authorities & associations to help people homeless by this to be given top priority for homes. @AngelaRayner

Attempted pogroms in Thetford are the direct result of Reform UK, their lapdogs in the media and the perpetual platforming of their racist attacks on immigrants.
There is no way around that fact.

Think it's worth repeating. Zia Yusuf claimed no state support was being offered to Reform MPs for protection. In reality, Nigel Farage was offered a car, a trained driver, a bodyguard, and security on a similar level to that offered Kemi Badenoch. That's quite the deception.

President Trump declares the US will reinstate the Iranian blockade and serve as ‘guardian of the Hormuz Strait’, collecting a 20% toll on all cargo shipped to cover the costs of securing the waterway.
Thanks a bunch Big Don. You break it. The rest of us have to pay for it

This is the central problem for Farage. Setting aside the legal issues, all the public are seeing now is lots of very, very rich people in Reform passing very large amounts of money round to each other, whilst claiming they're not part of the elite or the British establishment.

Nigel Farage: "I'm going to ignore the wishes of Henry Nowak's family and extract every ounce of political capital from their son's death".

I will accept Nigel Farage’s request to be appointed Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead.
It is a farce and a desperate distraction, and the people of Clacton deserve better.
But if he wants to spend the summer arguing with a bin, I won't stop him.

I’m thoroughly enjoying just how much Nigel Farage’s millions of pounds in gifts “for his security” have left him feeling in such a state of insecurity.

People of Clacton, this is your time: vote @CountBinface !

Currently the Clacton By-election appears to be a choice between
A) a novelty act with no real policies
B) Count Binface.

Nick Robinson to Zia Yusuf: "You say this is all about standing up to the establishment.
"You're a multi-millionaire. You made your money selling luxury helicopter charters and rare wines to the super-wealthy.
"Nigel Farage is a public schoolboy, a former commodities trader who gets £5m gifts from his friends and lives in a 5-storey house next to Buckingham Palace courtesy of a man convicted of fraud.
"Do you really think you are in a position at Reform UK to claim not to be part of the super-wealthy, self-serving establishment?"

It’s great to see the privately educated, multi-millionaire, jet-setting city trader and businessman with several homes, a number of very rich friends, along with a seat in the legislature, finally take on those utter bastards in, er, the establishment.

To give you an idea of how British politics has degraded into deranged radical-right lunacy, just consider what the public reaction would have been had a politician in the 60s or 70s proposed the following:

🤣🤣How dare the media ask a party leader why he didn’t declare £5m bungs from crypto tycoons or homes he bought for cash while telling us he was ‘skint.’ Outrageous!
The hounding of Nigel Farage and his family over their personal finances and living arrangements is a transparent attempt by established power - in the government and the media - to disable Reform because of the threat the party poses to their privileges. All these attacks haven’t revealed a single incidence of wrongdoing. They’re playing the man and not the ball. The British public will see that, and see it is unfair, and it won’t work.

NEW: The Times has established that Nigel Farage and his partner own at least five homes spanning Surrey, Essex and Kent.
All but one were bought with cash since 2000. Farage described himself as "skint" in 2017.
