The liberal tendency to argue that everyone has implicit biases when it comes to the law, while simultaneously saying that judges can be nonpartisan is laughably painful.

If you'd like to be black pilled on politics, daylight savings time is the perfect introduction. Something 87% (roughly) of Americans agree on, something that is a fairly simple fix, and yet the people elected to govern us cannot do it.
CLOCK BLOCKED: The Senate is letting the Sunshine Protection Act die on the vine — even after the House passed it 307-117 and Trump publicly demanded a vote. Americans set their clocks back an hour Sunday, continuing the twice-yearly ritual that polls show most voters want eliminated. Trump took to Truth Social this week to blast the upper chamber, writing that "a vast Majority of the Country" wants the change. He even shared the personal cellphone number of Sen. Tom Cotton, one of the bill's most vocal opponents, urging supporters to call and pressure him. But Senate Majority Leader John Thune says there's "no clear path forward or consensus" — and with a packed post-election schedule, floor time is the Senate's most precious commodity. The bill that cleared the House with overwhelming bipartisan support may never see a Senate vote. Story here: foxnews.com/politics/america…

I finished reading "Suicidal Empathy" the other day. Good book, but felt like a regurgitation of James Burhnam's idea of "liberal guilt." The book felt like it was just attaching a new phrase to an idea already talked about 60 years ago and then providing modern examples.

Moral Vulnerability, Double Standards, Moral Disarmament, Evolution into Self-Hatred, and the Pious Syndrome are all ideas Burnham talks about in "Suicide of the West." I think you'd better under stand the concept of suicidal empathy and it's beginnings by reading Burnham.

If one more Realtor sends me an email begging me to buy a home that they're selling, I'm going to lose it. Maybe selling a 3 bedroom home for $700k is the reason its not selling, not because you "haven't found the right buyer."

The thing that's insidious about this clip is that we all know the dude filming probably makes the pizza guys salary in a month via "influencer" videos. The man that provides service to society makes less than the man leeching off of it. A depraved civilization we are.

I still remember when neo cons insisted that this war would be over and done with in a matter of days. And I remember when we told them it wouldn’t play out like that, and it would prove to be a massive blunder, and they yelled at us and called us “panicans” and traitors.

BREAKING: The State of Utah is criminally charging Kalshi co-founder Tarek Mansour. He could receive up to 75 years in prison. I sat down with him for a deep dive chat 48 hours ago. Here it is.

Update. Allegedly he shoved the "victim." However that is in dispute. Likely the prosecutors charged with the felony crime on account of the "shove" being the weaker part of the case. This is a silly felony case for any prosecutor to bring. Once again, local elections matter.

Another fascinating fact. The charging documents come with an affidavit from Helena PD, meaning investigators support the charges, including the felony account. At least in my county, every felony charge is assigned an investigator.
