I'm dead. This clip killed me. Well done, brother. Well done, indeed.
Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

I personally would not issue or follow an order that promised to make me infamous and possibly imprisoned.
🚨🚨NEWWWWW --- @FBI agents are privately sharing a grave concern in recent days: that they'll be ordered to seize voting machines or take other legally questionable steps to disrupt the mid-term elections. @KDilanianMSNOW & me ms.now/news/white-house-acti…

OBAMA: The president wasn't even mad. About The Saddam Hussein comparison. That part didn't bother him. But he was very upset about The Cheesecake Factory. He took great umbrage. He said I didn't understand the work of the artisans in the White House. They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke.

This election is our last chance to at least rein in some of the foolishness of this Administration. We need real leadership with concrete plans to lower costs, make health care more affordable, make housing more affordable, and get utility bills under control. Let’s do what we can to make @KeishaBottoms the next Governor of Georgia. Let’s go send Jon @Ossoff back to the Senate. And let’s put this country back on the path to a better future.

Cry harder, bitch.
STEVE BANNON: The Secretary of State and the President need to come out now, cut off diplomatic relations, and shut down everything with Brazil. No trade, nothing. This is an illegitimate Marxist globalist government. If you don’t think this election stealing is coming here, you're dead wrong. If we don't take action, it’s happening here next Tuesday.

This 👀 kicker. A Mongolian government spokesperson posted Don Trump Jr. discussed US relations and businesses opportunities. Then, the post was deleted, and Trump’s spokesperson said they just talked about the outdoors.
Wow. Financial Times reports that Trump Jr. went on a Mongolian hunting trip with the Russian businessman who financed his wedding party. The trip was in August, three months after the wedding. ft.com/content/f41fc704-c9e6…

To understand how Lula supporters are feeling right now, imagine Trump went to jail for his Jan 6 insurrection and then Biden/Harris defeated Don Jr in 2024.

Seven months ago, there was a big conversation about whether Trump was denying blue states FEMA aid for partisan reasons. Since May, there have been 57 more disaster relief decisions. Requests from blue states are still 2.8x more likely to be rejected than from red states.

I can't tell you how bad Lula's victory in Brazil is for Bannon's global plans.

What a comeback. We will need time to properly understand it. But I think this was a 20th century politician who, at the very last possible moment, figured out how to run a 21st century campaign. After his first round loss, Lula started carrying a smartphone for the first time in his life, brought in younger aides who knew how to run a real digital operation, and finally was able to create some excitement in one of the world’s most terminally online countries. The net result was 3 million more people who turned out to vote, fewer spoiled ballots, votes from third-party candidates, and some repented bolsonaristas as well. Flávio Bolsonaro challenged the results, but he faces an extremely difficult battle. The margin of victory, more than 4 million votes, was too large to be explained by the delay in polling stations closing or any other abnormalities. Big Brazilian power brokers, including the so-called Centrão, are dutifully accepting the result. The Bolsonaros will ask the White House for support, but it’s important that the vast majority of Latin American leaders, including those on the right like Keiko Fujimori and José Antonio Kast, quickly recognized Lula’s victory. They concluded this is over, and the Trump administration may do the same. For Lula, the good news is that he won, and the bad news is that he won. He ran up a big bill to help make this happen: More than $60 billion in extra spending, welfare payments, debt forgiveness and other fiscal largesse. This in a country with real interest rates above 8% and a debt burden forecast to reach 83% of GDP this year, up a whopping 12 percentage points in Lula’s term. Markets are hemorrhaging in the hours after his victory, and they may get worse until Lula details his plans to cut spending. Lula also faces the most conservative Congress on record, a skeptical business community, and consumers who are struggling under huge debts as well. But look, Lula would rather deal with those problems than the alternative. He will be the man who defined an entire half-century of Brazilian history, from the metalworkers’ strike he led as a labor union leader in 1979 to the end of his fourth term in 2030. A truly epic story that is still being written, and may yet bring more surprises. -- For more, including reactions from @DaniCamp0 and Alessandra Ribeiro: americasquarterly.org/articl…

I'm watching Lula congratulate his CENTRE RIGHT running mate, and clowns on the Internet- and why am I seeing their content? - rail about 'communism'
Brazil is a tragic case study. Once you let communism in, it’s tough to vote it out. They sink their claws into the Supreme Court and do everything possible legal or illegal to stay in power, even after Flávio destroyed Lula (a criminal) in the debate. Stay alert 🇺🇸!
