And.........no name has been released.
About three hours later, police found a man matching the description running naked/erratically near 22nd Avenue and Diamond Head Road and arrested him. Local reports describe him as a 23-year-old; he remains in custody with kidnapping and second-degree assault charges pending.

I never use parking garages.
In 2005 in White Plains, New York, in the parking garage for the Galleria mall, at 1 PM in the afternoon, a black man, Phillip Grant, stabbed a white woman in the heart & killed her. He was hunting for a white victim.
Look it up

We need Singapore Bukele law + castration asap - caning, death penalty, and mental hospitals. Whole country can be safe and beautiful in a month like DC if pro crime Democrats get out of the way. @slatestarcodex analysis is wrong teapawt.org/davidgobaud/status/203…
Interesting article by @slatestarcodex on crime, recidivism, and how a real three strikes law would eliminate 80% of crime in the US but concludes it isn't a good idea / practical for various reasons including it would probably require imprisoning 4% of the population, up from about 0.75%, which would cost too much. However:
1. What about Singapore? Perhaps death penalty + caning has massive deterrence effect? Do that and the 4% number maybe goes down to no increase.
2. On El Salvador - "When you’re starting from someplace terrible, without any of the low-hanging fruit picked, it’s easy to make progress!"
The US + Europe are currently someplace terrible with regard to a lot of crime, including violent crime such as murder and rape, so there is low-hanging fruit even if it isn't a real three strikes law. Three obvious problems are releasing violent illegals, not prosecuting + locking up rapists + murderers for dei reasons, and the absurd California pre-trial detention 2X credit responsible for Grandpa Vicha's killer Antoine Watson getting out at least 5 years early (how many more examples are there like this across the US?).

So, they named the suspect who was described as "a burly, dark-skinned man with a full beard and looked Polynesian" - but booked as white.

🇺🇸 Stalker GRABS a woman in broad daylight in Hawaii and tries to drag her to his truck! 💀
Around noon Monday in Diamond Head, he confronted 2 women in a condo garage, picked up the younger woman, and carried her toward his vehicle as she screamed.
Neighbors rushed in and yelled, allowing her to escape. He sped off but was arrested hours later.
Daylight didn’t stop him. Only the people nearby did.

Democrats and DC have become so corrupt because they know the judicial cabal will protect them.
The worthless republicans are largely responsible as they have done NOTHING about it.
We need to find republicans who will abolish the corrupt DC courts.
Norm Eisen says that the corrupt DC courts are going to set up as part of the resistance.
Norm would know since he hand selects the corrupt judges for his lawfare including Democrat operative Tonia Chutkan.
Norm also worked with judge Emmet Sullivan to move ballots around the country in 2020 and then covered it up using the administrative law act.
The DC courts must be dismantled the the corrupt judges must be held accountable.

Today isn't the first time DC Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui apologized to someone arrested for threatening the president and berating the DOJ for its handling of the perp.
Last year, Faruqui apologized the Edward Dana, a career criminal who said he wanted to kill the president during an arrest for other offenses.
Some of the high(low)lights here:

A few notes on Faruqui
NEW: I have just received the transcript of the court hearing last week before Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui related to the pretrial detention conditions for Cole Tomas Allen, who attempted to assassinate the president and others last month.
Faruqui--who signed arrest warrants in hundreds of J6 cases and denied pretrial release some nonviolent offenders (Couy Griffin, for example)--acted more as Allen's public defender than a federal judge handling a dangerous criminal who shot at Secret Service and planned to kill the president and members of his administration.
His comparison between Allen and J6ers is not just infuriating it is baseless. He openly misrepresents the events of J6 and the defendants before him.
"PEOPLE GOT CLOSER TO KILLING THE PRESIDENT THAT DAY?" Excuse me?
And no--"dozens" of people did not carry firearms. The only person who used a firearm inside the Capitol was Lt. Michael Byrd, who killed Ashli Babbitt.
This sort of judicial dishonesty--a brazen attempt for headlines--must be addressed by the DOJ because we know Chief Judge Boasberg will do nothing about it (in fact, he believes the same)

Zia Faruqui— and my longtime followers are familiar with his name—is a magistrate judge. Not appointed by the president, not confirmed by the Senate.
He signed hundreds of J6 arrest warrants including on the unlawful 1512c2 charge. He refused to release Couy Griffin, accused of 2 misdemeanors, from custody.
Last year, he actually apologized to a guy accused of pointing lasers at Secret Service agents and the president’s helicopter after he was charged.
Once again - the abject failure of Congressional Republicans to hold ANY of these judges accountable continues to reverberate in the hopelessly corrupt, unaccountable DC courthouse.
Breaking: Federal judge dismisses—and lambastes—the DOJ false statements case against two former FBI officials. Calls it “weaponization.”
Judge Faruqui—a former federal prosecutor himself—said the government made a number of errors in their "slapdash job" of a case. He said there was no evidence presented before the court that the FBI agents' statements were knowingly false or material. He said the government failed to establish a motive for why the agents would make false statements.
He told prosecutors it was "incredibly unfair" that the DOJ sent into court with such a weak case. "This does not feel like an investigation," Faruqui said. "It feels like a broken one-wish willow obsession."
He added that he was "deeply troubled by what has happened here in this case," and that what happened "cannot be described as anything other than weaponization."
"It was a rush to charge, and that was a mistake," Faruqui said of the case.

The NGOs wouldn’t be a problem if CONGRESS would END the Unaccompanied Alien Children Program.
Instead YOU ARE STILL FUNDING IT at Biden-era levels: $4.2 billion in FY 2026, $3.4 billion requested for FY 2027.
SHUT THE PROGRAM DOWN and STOP CHILD EXPLOITATION @BasedMikeLee @SenMikeLee @nickshirleyy
Replying to @KimWexlerMAJD
🧵 In 2014, Vice President Joe Biden said that by the administration’s estimate, “between 75 and 80 percent“ of the children arriving alone “rely on very dangerous, not-nice, human-smuggling networks.”
Each unaccompanied foreign child found in the United States should trigger a criminal human smuggling investigation.
The UAC program’s own fraud review, released Oct. 1, says that “in most cases, sponsors and family members of UAC have been active participants in alien smuggling, which is a crime under 8 U.S.C. § 1324.”
Yet from fiscal 2021 through 2025, as nearly 492,000 children entered the program, federal courts sentenced fewer than 2,600 smugglers in cases involving an unaccompanied minor.
