👉 This is what a 12-month E-E-A-T Implementation campaign looks like...... figured it would be worth sharing before anyone else is hit.
Like my client, if you didn't read the updated Google Guidelines (+ most importantly recently, the second update in December 2022!), you would be shocked when the ranking drops come.
My client's Shopify store in a YMYL niche got nuked after Raterhub visited the website.
A £1380 a day hi-end eCommerce store nuked off the planet overnight...
My client was left with the only option of laying off 5 staff with ZERO idea of where the next order would come from.
What did I suggest? An E-E-A-T Audit followed by an implementation plan.
👉 We ran the website through our 30-step checklist
👉 We created all the missing social profiles and pages they were lacking in which all the competitors that were still ranking had
👉 We built an author bio page and 30 blog posts
👉 We built Wikipedia links
👉 We placed 75 guest posts on high DR-relevant websites, all of which contained variations of his author bio to the tone of the website (all of which were thematically and semantically relevant to the search queries we were targeting)
👉 We built social signals en masse alongside interacting with industry movers and shakers
Is E-A-T or E-E-A-T, as it's now known, a direct ranking factor? No.
Do Google's official guidelines highlight the trust signals required to rank, and if you follow that AND DO EVERYTHING alongside awesome links? Yes.
Stop building your websites and businesses on QUICKSAND and build A MOAT on a solid foundation.
E-E-A-T audits work for EVERY WEBSITE and are a MUST if you want to stay ahead; in this example, these guys were lucky and are now thriving at over £3299 a day.
Why take the chance and wait for when the Google quality raters come? Why have you not covered the basics and looked at every ranking website in your top 10 to ensure you are not missing FOUNDATIONAL or, even more, critical LEGAL pages?

Get into a niche you know very little about?
I highly recommend you attend a workshop.
Did this two years ago for a website on soaps and learned a lot.
In 2-3 hours I learned more on the topic than I could have through Google searches.

My favorite e-com SEO strategy:
1. Write a blog post
2. Internally link to relevant product and product category pages
3. Build links to that blog post
All of the products and product category pages you internally linked to will see an increase in rankings, traffic, and sales.

Keyword research is the direct path to earning more from content marketing.
In fact, as a freelance writer, when you see how it directly impacts a client's bottom line, you'll never sell your writing in the same way again.

4- lots of sites with a DA less than 20 on page 1?
5- lots of sites with thin content or content which doesn’t answer the question properly?
6- the topic isn’t dominated by e-commerce sites on page 1?
If it’s a yes all round then WRITE THAT BAD BOY SHARPISH 🤩😳🥳🤪

I only write articles when I have a good chance of ranking number 1. Otherwise, it's a wasted effort.
Here are the things I look for:
1. Titles matching keywords
2. DR of each
3. Are there forums?
4. Are there e-commerce sites?
5. What's the word count?
6. How's the quality?

SEO has ZERO barriers to entry.
Build sites while you gain knowledge.
Implement what you learn.
Identify what works and what doesn’t.
Keep building and learning.
I promise you’ll end up better than most here.

The easy part is building the website. The hard part is producing quality content consistently that ranks.
The easy part is building a product. The hard part is selling it.
Stop wasting time on the easy parts.

I tried this strategy to increase my ad revenue and it worked:
1- log into ad network - Filter to high RPM/ Epmv posts
2- Write a cluster of posts for one high RPM topic ( make sure you couple it with keyword research)
3- be patient
4- watch your ad revenue grow

Lately, you don't see much movement in SEO in the day-to-day.
But if you do good SEO and you do "all the things", the Core Algorithm Updates are when you see movement happen.
3-4 times per year is where you get 90% of your movement.
Stay focused. Be patient. Do all the things
