DeepSeek v4.1 Flash 1017 FULLY UNCENSORED. No cheap system prompts, no cheap template tricks, no lora or runtime bs, no sft. Model’s capabilities preserved as much as possible. Complies with all requests on low/max reasoning efforts. I’ll be making NVFP4 and a ~2.8bpw version for 2x DGX Sparks soon too. huggingface.co/dealignai/Dee…

Replying to @OmarchyLinux
@OmarchyLinux is a monumental milestone in OS history. It is a source of inspiration for every OS, everybody will follow. After tasting the freedom of a malleable OS where agents allows you to customize anything... You just can't go back. I would preach it to my grandma.

. @steipete You have a pretty awesome AI-powered PR review process. I sent a PR adding @deepinfra support to CodexBar, and it's been fun watching my AI respond to your AI's review comments :)

I've been doing some repetitive work across a bunch of client sites this week (upgrading ACF blocks from v2→v3, adding the same code to multiple themes, etc.), so I ran a quick test to see how different open-source coding models perform on these real tasks.

Despite all the hype around GLM-5.2, it has consistently matched or underperformed DeepSeek-V4-Flash for me while costing ~10× more. The biggest surprise was Tencent's Hy3 — it performs about as well as V4-Flash at a similar cost, but it's noticeably faster.

There were six flags flown over Texas and none of them were ever England so forgive me but you contributed nothing to Astroworld.
I’m confused, why are Americans supporting Mexico over England?

My kids and I have been building a fun little app called Buddy Blocks. It's a browser-based learning app with short, game-like lessons and works offline. The best part was building it together. They handled QA, suggested features, and made sure I used up my Codex limits. 😄

BTW, thanks @thsottiaux for the Codex resets. My "QA team" (ages 9 and 11) keep finding new ways to spend them.

I have spent 20 years building WordPress sites. Now I'm moving some client sites to Astro instead. A lot of sites don't actually need a live CMS, plugin stack, database, PHP runtime, admin area, and managed host sitting behind a few pages of mostly static content.

Has anyone used the "Hosted Agents" in @DeepInfra ? I'm happy with my self-hosted Hermes agent (thanks @NousResearch) but paying l$0.02/hr is a great way to spin up Hermes instances for friends & family to test out

Can you help me test something I'm working on? Go to my blog (billerickson.net/blog) and click the "heart" on a few posts. Go to favorites, then sync your favorites. Then try accessing on a different device. Let me know if you hit any bugs or ideas for improvement.

Kurt Vonnegut on why you should leave the house to buy an envelope (and avoid online life in general): “Then I’m going down the steps, and my wife calls up, ‘Where are you going?’ I say, ‘Well, I’m going to go buy an envelope.’ And she says, ‘You’re not a poor man. Why don’t you buy a thousand envelopes? They’ll deliver them, and you can put them in a closet.’ And I say, ‘Hush.’ So I go down the steps here, and I go out to this newsstand across the street where they sell magazines and lottery tickets and stationery. I have to get in line because there are people buying candy and all that sort of thing, and I talk to them. The woman behind the counter has a jewel between her eyes, and when it’s my turn, I ask her if there have been any big winners lately. I get my envelope and seal it up and go to the postal convenience center down the block at the corner of 47th Street and 2nd Avenue, where I’m secretly in love with the woman behind the counter. I keep absolutely poker-faced; I never let her know how I feel about her. One time I had my pocket picked in there and got to meet a cop and tell him about it. Anyway, I address the envelope to Carol in Woodstock. I stamp the envelope and mail it in a mailbox in front of the post office, and I go home. And I’ve had a hell of a good time. And I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don’t let anybody tell you any different.      Electronic communities build nothing. You wind up with nothing. We’re dancing animals. How beautiful it is to get up and go do something”

I'm playing with WordPress FSE and ran into an issue. When I go to Appearance > Editor I get a loading screen that never finishes loading, but clicking on a template and going back fixes it. Any advice? cc @nickmdiego @richtabor @carolinapoena Video: a.cl.ly/YEu6Ew9K

Here's Matt Mullenweg calling Matt Mullenweg the bad guy in all this. The domain he's referring to, of course, is wordpress dot com. He was criticizing @jsON, who gave Matt the domain, for the EXACT thing he then went and did himself.
