Bash and Romesh's choice of charities as winners has really annoyed some people. Oh dear. Anyway. If you'd like to donate to either of them: Choose Love - chooselove.org/ Refugee Council - refugeecouncil.org.uk/ #CelebrityTraitors

Be sure to read the community notes and police response to this post - Alex has made himself look a right berk. 😊😂
Real poster from Buckinghamshire Council and Thames Valley police. Police have issued a warning to the public that Halloween can upset "religious or cultural beliefs" ahead of the celebrations this weekend. I’m so tired of all this crap.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The poster is a standard "no trick or treat" notice from Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Council for residents (esp. elderly/vulnerable) who do not want unexpected callers. It contains no mention of Halloween upsetting religious or cultural beliefs. x.com/ThamesVP/statu… familyinfo.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/news/halloween…

One of my followers has managed to get his copy of The Reformer up to 22 freepost envelopes now (so £55 worth). Can anyone top that?

It took Andy Burnham just three months to inherit the same levels of hatred and vitriol that drove Keir Starmer out of office. Apparently, we’re now supposed to believe that another lifelong public servant becomes PM and suddenly his mission is to deliberately “import rapists and criminals”, the phrase so many have been conditioned to repeat, and destroy our country. We’re supposed to believe that, are we? Despite immigration falling dramatically under this government and crime declining over the longer term. You can’t even let the man spend one evening at home filming a TV show to raise awareness for a cancer charity without people piling on with manufactured outrage. Just think about how ridiculous that is. Same narratives. Same fearmongering. Same manufactured outrage. And the same people falling for it, just as they did with Starmer. This has nothing to do with Burnham. It wouldn’t have mattered who was in power or what policies they pursued. A decade of manipulation has left people primed to have their fear and anger switched on in a heartbeat and directed at whoever those driving the outrage want to destroy. And so many have become part of that machine without even realising it.

Listen to young people.
I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.

Remember, folks - movement is better than being right. Not entirely sure how you could EVER apply that to your lived experience, or even what it means to non-bottle-inhabiting insects. But still. Deepstash - your daily dose of barely comprehensible, meaningless platitudes.
Put a bee and a fly in a bottle, closed end facing the window. The bee flies at the light until it dies. The fly bumbles around and escapes in 2 minutes. Sometimes moving beats being right. More ideas like this on Deepstash. 📲

Burnham is absolutely terrifying the hard-right grifters right now. They simply have no answer to someone who approaches politics with empathy, inclusion and hope. Someone who meets their fearmongering with positivity, their division with inclusion, and their outrage with calm, rational argument. Their entire model depends on generating fear, finding someone to blame; they are totally lost when up against someone refusing to play their game.

So, just so I'm clear about this, #ReformUK: it's wrong to believe huge numbers of people in Reform are racist because of a small number of bad apples, but it's right to push a narrative that all migrants are sexual predators because of a small number of bad apples. Got it. 👍

So, apparently I'm now the owner of an EpiPen. My dying friend gave it to me. Seemed to think it was VERY important I have it.

"If she was my daughter it would still be bath night on a Thursday... I'll wash you properly this time." "Tame stuff". Someone should check this guy's hard drive.
Replying to @BoltonWriter
You think this tame stuff is really that bad?

Mmmm, look at all that delicious American food 😂😂😂🤢. I guess the poison in their diet might explain their willingness to vote poison into government. 👏
American superiority on display

Quite apart from the implausible event taking place, listen to the dreadful AI voices, dumb script, and watch the bizarre high five at the end. How anyone can see this and not recognise that it's AI is utterly beyond me.

Jesus, the undercover reporters in this #itv #ReformUK documentary must have had to wash themselves with bleach every night after mixing with these vile scumbags.

When #ReformUK says there's no room for racists in their "party", do they just mean it's full?

I saw a GROWN ADULT observing what a little child was wearing and being bothered by it. Bit weird.
I saw a BOY, maybe 4 years old, wearing a PRINCESS DRESS at a coffee shop today. His parents were proudly talking about how they let him wear whatever he wants, how progressive they are, and how society needs to evolve. So here’s the question nobody will agree on: Is this GOOD parenting—letting kids be kids and ignoring gender norms? Or have we gone too far, and part of parenting is teaching children that societal norms actually exist? What’s wrong with a 4-year-old boy wearing a princess dress to coffee? Or would you tell your son, “Dresses are for girls”?

Astonishing maths on display here. Unless you only operate on the basis of 4-hour days.
You learn to appreciate time more when you realize that 24 minutes is 10% of your day, 24 seconds is 1%…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
24 minutes is ~1.67% of a 1440-minute day (not 10%; 10% is 144 minutes). 24 seconds is ~0.028% of an 86400-second day (not 1%). percentages.co.uk/percentage-to-… sciencing.com/convert-minute… askfilo.com/user-question-… calendarhours.com/how-many-secon…

A solid gold moron.
Lightning kills more kids than school shootings. Pools kill two orders of magnitude more kids every year than school shootings. Let’s blame inanimate objects for the failures of the society you demand.

Went with "OMG Possessed", but somehow skirted something to do with poultry-geists or cock-a-doodle-boo. Shameful.
Utterly inexplicable Nando’s Halloween napkin. What on earth did they think it meant? Was it designed by a 5-year-old? I am baffled
