I’m very quickly realizing that only “example” people have provided to me of Sam supposedly being written horribly as a character is him…having sympathy for the dead displaced teenager that was being denied resources by the government and turned to extremism in FATWS. That’s it.
My life used to revolve around this stuff too. Now it doesn't. But I still have friends and I still have family, and I enjoy watching with them as much as I enjoy these characters.
Growth doesn't mean abandoning the things you love, its learning how to stay true to yourself.
