I'm not surprised. Corruption is endemic in Illinois. – at Wheaton, IL
ILLINOIS: East Aurora school board president Annette Johnson is federally charged with steering a $2.7M air purifier contract, paid with pandemic relief money, to a reseller. Prosecutors say Johnson used her position as board president to steer a $2.7 million air purifier contract to a reseller, speaking in favor of the purchase and voting to approve it. The money came from federal pandemic relief funds meant for schools. After the district paid the reseller, a $1.3 million check labeled as "commission" went to a company where Johnson worked as chief financial officer. Per the indictment, that $1.3 million went to the owner of a company who was in a romantic relationship with Johnson while she was board president, and she had a financial interest in the deal.

This is exactly what Illinois Democrats Deb Conroy, Janet Yang Rohr, Delia Ramirez, Barbara Hernandez, Maura Hirschauer and so many more voted for too. At the height of the fentanyl crisis, they voted to decriminalize it and other hard drugs. They cannot be trusted with power. breakthrough-ideas.com/wp-co…
Imagine thinking we should take it easy on fentanyl dealers That’s what Democrats’ Michigan Senate candidate thinks

Protesting Trump outside Medinah Country Club is Arab American Family Services, a non-profit raking it in from taxpayers. In the last eight years AAFS has received $8,330,409 from Illinois taxpayers. In 2024, they received $2,614,756 which was 41% of their total revenues. Their IRS Form 990 from that year showed total revenue of $6,344,756. They were given the money for a Welcoming Center, Partner Abuse Intervention Program and Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Program. Their Form 990 states their purpose as "ARAB AMERICAN FAMILY SERVICES IS A MULTI-SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO EMPOWERING AND ENHANCING THE LIVES OF ARAB AMERICANS BY PROVIDING THEM WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES." So educational services means not teaching them to beat their wife and kids, I guess. In 2024, the Executive Director, ITEDAL SHALABI, paid himself $176,172 - according to the Form 990 published by ProPublica. AAFS is not a service organization. It is a progressive anti-American activist organization and they should be investigated for misuse of taxpayer money.

$1 BILLION DOLLARS! That's how much our kids are missing out on because @JBPritzker and the radical teachers unions won't opt in to the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit. Illinois' kids lose because liberals care more about campaign donations than scholarships. @SFC_Network @BlaineWilhour @adamniemerg @thecentersquare

CAUGHT INSIDE MINNEAPOLIS POLLING BOOTHS: Minnesota Poll Workers Tell O’Keefe, Dressed in Muslim Garb, & @camhigby, in a Burka, That They Can Vouch for Eight Unregistered Voters Without ID, Allowing Them to Vote in Minnesota Primary Election Election worker says, “You’re the ID,” referring to the registered voter serving as identification for the people they are vouching for. Election worker confirms O’Keefe’s question about unregistered voters being vouched for: “I can vouch for them. They are not registered… That’s okay. That’s fine. Yeah!” Election worker explains that a registered voter in the same precinct can vouch for up to eight people: “If you’re all in the same precinct and you are already registered, you can vouch for them as ID. Eight people.” More reports coming soon from the Justice League. @realmuckraker @anthonyjrubin @camhigby @ctznjusticelg

We should not be subsidizing any company controlled by the CCP. The communists run the Gotion plant in Manteno and yesterday the American union members walked out because the Chinese were doing union work at night. Who didn't think the Chinese wouldn't cheat? Please support the CCOM lawsuit against Gotion. Donate at their website nogotion-illinois.com – at Wheaton, IL
🚨“It’s a small town fighting a multibillion-dollar company,” Manteno Village Trustee Mike Barry told The @EpochTimes. Residents sued, raised money, and won local offices as Illinois paid the China-linked Gotion Inc. $165 million. Former Illinois state Rep. @JeanneIves describes the struggle as a “David-versus-Goliath fight.” Gotion Inc., which received the state grants, is the U.S. subsidiary of China-based battery manufacturer Gotion High-Tech. The Chinese parent identifies founder Li Zhen as its controller and documents an internal Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organization. In a 2022 corporate responsibility report, Gotion High-Tech said it had 923 CCP members and 11 party branches, and it described party-building work across its operations. Those disclosures became central to the Manteno opposition effort. Residents said they did not view the project as ordinary foreign investment. They saw Illinois using taxpayer money to help a company tied to China’s ruling communist system establish a foothold in their community. Darrel Bruck, co-founder of OUTRAGE NFP, said the all-volunteer Illinois watchdog group helped Manteno residents organize when the project became public. Bruck said residents were angered by the public subsidies and by what they saw as a lack of reciprocity between the United States and China. “All we’re doing is subsidizing the Chinese Communist Party,” he said. “Why would we want to do that?” FULL STORY follows in link below👇

JB Pritzker must be China's Favorite Governor. 1. $536 million, and more, to CCP-backed Gotion to build a battery plant in Manteno for his green energy fantasy. 2. Just announced $8.6 million subsidy to Richardson Electronics to partner with Gotion for grid-scale battery deployment. 3. All-in to build solar farms with Chinese panels across Illinois. 4. $8.610,000 to Chinese NGOs in FY 27 budget. Including $5.8 million to Chinese American Service League and $1.285M for the Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community - these are activist groups promoting birthright citizenship, anti-ICE policy, and subsidized government housing. 5. UIUC has the second most Chinese students at an American university and the most at a public university. Total graduate and undergraduate Chinese enrollment exceeds 10% of the student body. 6. JB Pritzker flew secret flights to China to pick up PPE supplies during COVID instead of relying on U.S. suppliers. @theallinpod @stevecortes breakthrough-ideas.com/read/…

Tomorrow I am filling in for Dan Proft on Chicago's Morning Answer. I have Cleta Mitchell, former Trump election lawyer and Gordon Chang on to discuss Trump's remarks tonight on election fraud and specifically Chinese interference in our elections. Looking forward to DHS, DOJ, FBI, and DNI putting out information on election fraud. We knew back in 2016 that Russian hackers accessed our voter info in IL. The 2020 election was completely fraudulent. Voter totals didn't match ballots counted, the Frank Difranco election fraud case shows numerous problems, the cheat-by-mail scheme was used to harvest ballots. And we know Illinois department of human services sends information to non- citizens to register to vote when they sign up for benefits. Time to expose the fraud and clean it all up.

Jessica Gorman, Sheridan's mom, deserves a lot of credit for laying out the unreasonableness and unkindness of sanctuary policies and open borders pols in the raw and unscripted way she did so before this House Judiciary Subcommittee. Please share with the sentimental barbarians in your lives who are either complicit with or willfully blind to these policies and pols.

DePaul University in Chicago Illinois is firing American workers and then rehiring foreigners on H-1B visas “DePaul University said that it fired 114 staff members amid budget cuts. However, over the course of the same year, they have been filing labor condition applications, also known as LCAs, which is the required paperwork for an institution to hire a foreign worker through the H-1B program” I liked more into this and DePaul filed 20 Labor Condition Applications to bring in foreigners to take jobs Also, DePaul is cap-exempt for H-1B visas, making it much easier for them to sponsor foreign workers for roles like faculty, researchers and staff positions This needs to end. We should not be importing foreigners to take American jobs, especially high paying jobs at universities The university listed salaries for these job filings for foreigners ranged up to $149,963, with at least one at $130,000 starting salary This is ridiculous

Mayor Johnson wants $425 million for Chicago Fire (European Football, aka soccer) stadium, but the Democrats can't figure out how to support a stadium for Chicago Bears. It would be both comical and idiotic if Johnson and his alderman actually go through with a subsidy like this, but I'm sure all the new immigrants will be happy. chicagotribune.com/2026/06/1…

Deflecting! @GovPritzker has to get this stink off him because he’s going to run for President. @AM560TheAnswer @JeanneIves
WATCH: Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker heavily criticizes Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s team this morning for their handling of the Chicago Bears deal and lobbying state government in general. “I know that the mayor has no plan. He has come up with no plan at all about how the Bears would end up in the city of Chicago. So that’s problematic. I’d love them to be in the city but we are three years in now and he still has no plan.” “The mayor has shown up every spring at the end of session to pronounce what he would like to see happen. As you know the budget gets put together starting in November…I present that budget to the legislature in February. So that seems like a good time period to come talk to the governor’s office. Then there’s February to May. There’s all that time to come talk to the legislature, which has my budget in hand, or the governor’s office.” “Again, we’ve seen almost nothing out of the mayoral administration here on that subject or really any other. So to show up in May and have a bunch of demands seems like late in the game. And it’s unfortunate that’s happened most years.” Johnson’s chief of external affairs is Kennedy Bartley, who formerly worked as a Chicago Teachers Union-funded organizer for police and prison abolition. The mayor’s former top lobbyist, Sydney Holman, resigned in 2024 after Johnson elevated Bartley to oversee the mayor’s office of intergovernmental affairs.
