Mr. President, instead of spewing racist hatred against Abdul, explain to the American people why you:
- Gave the top 1% $1 trillion in tax cuts
- Threw 15 million Americans off the healthcare they had
- Unleashed brutal ICE raids
- Dragged us into an illegal war with Iran

Last night, the Kevin Sinfield documentary aired on BBC, "Thank You, Sir Kev", celebrating the incredible impact he’s had on the MND community through the money he’s raised and the awareness he’s brought to Motor Neurone Disease.
He knows like we do, that the fight against MND doesn’t stop at the finish line. This is a behind the scenes look at our campaign, 'Life stripped Away'. It tells the stories of Jaki, Steve, Tahira and Lorraine, who are all living with MND, and who all generously shared their stories with us.
They are a powerful reminder of why this work matters - and why there’s still so much more to do. Help us stop MND.

If these were 400 Jewish families ordered by ANYONE to leave their homes, it would be THE BIGGEST HEADLINE IN THE WORLD.

Harold Macmillan’s warning about “selling the family silver” is worth remembering.
His point: when governments are under financial pressure, they must not mistake the sale or depletion of capital assets for sustainable income.
“First the Georgian silver goes … Then the Canalettos go.”
Nearly 40 years later, the same principle matters.
A government desperate to improve its fiscal position should be very careful about policies that weaken productive assets, whether infrastructure, businesses or the land that produces our food.
You can make the accounts look better today while leaving the country poorer tomorrow.

Some chatter on social media would have you believe that crime is out of control.
The facts tell a different story.
As @frasernelson has shown in his Substack today:
Violence is at its lowest level since the crime survey began in 1981.
Robbery is at a record low.
Crime, excluding fraud, is 78% down on its peak in 1995.
And the stats show this Government is delivering on its promises too:
Knife crime is down 11%.
Knife murders are at their lowest level in 35 years.
Thefts including phone snatching have fallen by 20% in the last year alone.
But I know there is more that we must do, and we will:
We’ve put more than 3,800 extra neighbourhood officers into roles, with named, contactable officers for every neighbourhood.
We’re introducing the most significant reforms to policing in a generation.
We are tackling rising rates of violence against women and girls through our landmark strategy.
And we are tackling crimes like fraud, more prevalent in our increasingly online world, with £250 million directed to this challenge in our Fraud Strategy published this year.

- Robbery: record low
- Overall crime 78% below 1995 peak.
- Shoplifting up

The Israeli Foreign Ministry is lying.
No coordination was required, and we were never told that it was. We were not in a restricted security area. We did not pass any checkpoints.
Palestinian farmers do not — and should not — need permits to harvest their own olive fields. But they fear doing so, because the IDF doesn’t protect them from settler violence.
We’re trying to model solidarity & co-existence between Jews and Palestinians, and to call attention to the horrors of the occupation. The Israeli government is trying to foment violence between Jews and Palestinians, and to make it impossible for Palestinians to harvest their olive groves, drive on their roads, or live in their homes.
This was not about harvesting olives.
It was about harvesting headlines.
Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation.
Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination.
What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required.
He chose to ignore those instructions.
At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order.
Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection.
Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.

Pep Guardiola: “We are living through a very dark time in our history. We see girls and boys in Gaza searching for their parents among the rubble. Ask for help. Suffering from hunger. To be left alone. We watch them lose everything before they’ve even had a chance to grow up. And the hell continues, and with it, the dehumanisation of the Palestinian people. Their lives matter as much as ours. Their pain is not unfamiliar. Let’s not forget. Solidarity with Palestine cannot take a break. Neither can our responsibility…”

When I met Angela Rayner to campaign for change to overly aggressive council tax debt collection, with its unprecedented rapid escalation to balliffs, she nodded like most politicians do.
I explained it was destructive for individuals, councils and the economy. She listened more then said she'd change it. I was sceptical. Yet a consultation was launched within weeks and delightfully the change announced within 18mths (its in place from next April) - bullet train pace for politics.
I've a rule that if I campaign for a politician (of any party) to do something, and they do it, I say thank you. Its important to recognise it. So thank you so much Angela Rayner for listening and more importantly acting. The changes coming are a great start.
I promised we'd make council tax fairer, and I’m getting on with the job.
Too many working people have seen council tax debt spiral before they had the chance to get help.
That's why we're introducing more time to pay, clearer warnings if you miss a payment and more support from councils.
Thanks to @MartinSLewis and @mmhpi for their tireless campaigning to make this change happen.
