It's called theonomy; a whole system of reading the Old & New Testaments as one continuing revelation as well as a mechanism for bringing it to bear on every aspect of life & culture. You may not like it but it's dangerous to dismiss it as incoherent

It’s time. This is the moment we’ve been waiting for. This is the case that could change the entire ballgame for Trump. Cameras allowed. Televised trials. No pardon for Trump. And a DA who doesn’t care who he is & who will simply view him like any other criminal defendant. 👀

Tim Scott campaign cash on hand, post 2ndQ: $21.1M
Ron DeSantis campaign cash on hand post 2ndQ: $12.2M
DeSantis tapped out top donors and burned through $7.9 million in first six weeks, per NBC analysis.
The numbers suggest, for first time, that solvency could be a threat to DeSantis’ campaign.

as expected, the court has inverted the 14th. an amendment written explicitly to directly ameliorate the conditions of race hierarchy becomes in conservative hands an amendment that says it’s illegal to try to directly ameliorate the conditions of race hierarchy
The Supreme Court has ruled on affirmative action. Per Amy Howe of @SCOTUSblog, "The court holds that Harvard and UNC's admissions programs violate the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment."

This isn’t about our ability to “prove we belong”.
It’s about how race/class hierarchy is maintained by pretending the white elite are entitled to wealth & power while everyone else must prove ourselves worthy of citizenship & human rights.

Before you begin your thinkpiece, the Supreme Court DID NOT strike down Affirmative Action
Admission preferences for legacies, donors, employee families and special recommendations are still allowed
The Court struck down Affirmative Action For everyone except WHITE PEOPLE

There are no good sides. The Kremlin is evil. Wagner is evil. The mafiosos, oligarchs, and sadists in their overlapping networks are evil. The only people to root for are the innocents they have terrorized. And the people trying to keep the worst weapons from the loosest hands.

Isn’t it kinda everyone’s dream to be interviewed about their worst ex for a national audience the way Lillian McEwen was for this ep of Slow Burn? Just getting to drop in stuff on how he was raggedy and a weird dancer and they knew him at the adult video store? I'm happy for her
To understand who Clarence Thomas was in the '80s, you need to hear from the women who knew him best. On the latest Slow Burn, @byjoelanderson speaks with Thomas' ex-girlfriend, Lillian McEwen, who shares insights into who Thomas was, and who he became: link.chtbl.com/ndpncijN

That's a great plan. Interestingly, studies have shown that 54% of Republican voters are from states with lower levels of education and higher poverty rates controlled by Republican state houses. It is puzzling that despite this, they often vote in favor of wealthy individuals, as demonstrated by the fact that 87% of the $2.7 trillion tax cuts under Trump went to the top 1%. And a worker on a construction site has the same tax rate as Jeff Bezos. In addition, it is worth noting that around 60% of the nation's GDP comes from Democrat-voting states. These issues deserve more attention and discussion let the world know Mr. President. 💙
