If you're switching away from @Railway, don't go with any of the vendors using Railway's breach to poach customers right now. You want a high-integrity vendor, not one virtue signaling on one of the worst cybersecurity days in years just to grow a little. Any mature provider knows this can happen to anyone, so they'd never risk the "come over here, we're safe" look. They also know most real customers can't switch overnight. And I say this as a pretty frustrated Railway customer who's looking at alternatives, too.

unfortunately this is probably the worst handling I’ve seen of an incident of this scale — I use railway for all my projects and they have been down claiming a “major outage” for 15+ hours now we know it was a massive security breach where sensitive, encrypted keys were exposed the communication (or the lack there of) after such a serious breach is nothing short of disrespectful — gg railway
Today, we were alerted of malicious activity that compromised Railway's servers We are sharing this with you broadly and swiftly. We recommend folks rotate their keys out of an abundance of caution.

CIA operative (D) now talking about false flag incidents & weaponizing the threat of persecution to deter young people from serving in government. Normal, healthy stuff! She’s one of their supposed “moderates” btw.

U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin says she’s prepared for a situation in which the Trump administration attempts to change the outcome of the election: “Right in the last two weeks of the election, they somehow come up with a national security incident that only they can protect us from.”

Yeah, I think part of the problem is that while colleges saw the demographic cliff coming, they assumed they could make it up with international students, and the Trump administration threw a wrench in that plan.
A lot of US higher ed strategy adopted during 90s-00s was premised on an infinite supply of full-tuition international students from Global South nouveau riche (itself assumed to have infinite growth potential). The world of 2020s doesnt look enough like what it was supposed to

This speaks to Israel's culture, but it is also a product of Netanyahu's reinvention of Israel's economy. In the long run, that will be his legacy much moreso than his foreign policy.
Israel really is insanely entrepreneurial. Unicorn founder density really shows it nicely in the data

The only thing for which Paxton has ever shown prodigious energy is philandery and possibly corruption. He is a lazy candidate in a heated race, and laziness is not a flaw you can fundraise your way around. In the primary, I argued that Paxton could beat John Cornyn and that dragging the man across the finish line in November could cost Republicans the Senate. We have arrived at that moment. Paxton’s supporters now insist everyone else must carry him. They want the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the outside groups, the donor class, and President Trump to spend whatever it takes, even if the money spent in Texas costs Republicans Alaska, Iowa, Maine, and Ohio, and even if it forecloses winnable pickups in Michigan and New Hampshire. Saving Paxton, they say, matters more than saving the country from a Democrat controlled Senate. That is nonsense. I said it in the primary, and I stand by it now. ewerickson.substack.com/p/th…

This is not hard, but guess what? @bariweiss is not the story. The head of a news organization making an editorial decision is not news. The actual story is what a United States Senate candidate said about the deadliest terrorist attack in United States history.
