Open for Visitors Award in England is St Nicholas, Berden. The judges loved the ‘Champing’ – camping in the church – and the range of activities and events taking place. The church is clearly working hard to attract new visitors.

Morning, world 👋 This morning we find ourselves in Emborough, not too far from Bath and Bristol, following a night of "Champing". That would be camping in a disused church.. the best part? The sunrise 😊 #MorningBeautiful

I'm 57 and last month slept solo in a church in the Lake District. Well, that's quite adventurous, isn't it?: youtu.be/mGicM2Z6ZtE
