The danger in talent ID? We measure who is ahead today and call it potential for tomorrow. Bigger. Faster. Stronger. Earlier maturing. Sometimes we’re not predicting the future at all. We’re simply selecting the present.

Somewhere behind the best football memories is a coach who let them play ⚽️ Freedom and a smile on his face were Morgan Rogers' highlights.

Congratulations to Andreas Georgallas, who made his preseason first team appearance from the bench today! 👏 A fantastic milestone for Dre, who has graduated from last season’s U16 National League Cup winning side. A well earned opportunity and another great example of the pathway in action 🤝🦅

Unai Emery's Villarreal beat Man Utd in the Europa League final(2021), give us the total wages per year from that time for one team and the other?😉

Aston Villa's total wages per year - £179,120,500 Freiburg's total wages per year - £59,461,362 Not taking anything away from Villa. But, there is more to football finances than just transfer fees. The Prem is operating on a completely different financial level right now! 🤯

I could tell some stories and comments about this with my son being a late developer physically. One u16s lead coach telling him ‘ your technically one of the best in the whole Acadmey but I’d find it hard to give a scholarship to you because of your current size’ then said -

There will be a lot of happy u13’s next season. Especially the goal keepers with a smaller goal. Very hard for the players physically playing 11 v 11 especially the late developers.
