Bitcoin education for students in Australia.
A very good friend of mine, an educator for over a decade with a background in IT security, runs the technology and STEM program at a Victorian school.
He’s been teaching his prep to grade 6 classrooms Bitcoin, Bitcoin principles, coding, and tech for more than five years.
I was invited last year to check it all out, and I was gobsmacked on how much these kids knew.
Two years ago, he and his mate decided to open their own school: @Consensus21
They’ve spent over $100,000 complying with every Department of Education requirement to get the school off the ground.
Consensus21 is built around Bitcoin principles, with a core curriculum focused on financial literacy, business development, coding and robotics, time management, and more.
As Bitcoiners, we understand what a BIP is: a Bitcoin Improvement Proposal that, once unanimous consensus is reached, gets rolled out to improve and harden Bitcoin.
C21 introduced SIPs: Student Improvement Proposals.
Students, parents, and educators can put forward ideas for what they want to learn, then present them to a panel of six keys:
2 student leader keys
2 parent keys
2 educator keys
If a SIP receives 3 out of 6 signatures, it enters the curriculum.
C21 also thought carefully about the end of a child’s education journey.
In the traditional system, kids graduate and are led into university debt that often exceeds $100k, and in today’s world, many of those degrees will be redundant.
Instead, C21 sets aside 10% of each child’s annual school fees every year and locks it into a Bitcoin time-lock.
If a child starts at age 6, by the time they graduate they’ll have a personal fund to give them a real kick-start.
They’ll also have a community around them to support and advocate for starting a business with that capital.
Last week, after a long journey with the Department of Education, the team received a notice demanding more details and giving them less than four days to reply.
The volume of work required, combined with the impossible timeline, was effectively a nail in the coffin.
It was structured this way knowing it would fail.
I’m calling on anyone in the Bitcoin space globally who has advisors, expertise, or resources that might help these guys out.
They’re out of money and out of time.
Plenty of Bitcoiners are funding all kinds of startups.
What about a purpose-built school designed to educate the next generation, a carefully thought-out program run by highly qualified educators who have been in Bitcoin since 2013?

The Australian Labor government spent nearly $10 million on a government support website for pedophiles which includes a land acknowledgement on the bottom of every page.
The website tells pedophiles not to “beat yourself up” for their sexual fantasies and treats pedophilia like a legitimate sexual orientation. It tells pedophiles that efforts to change their “sexual attraction” are akin to gay conversion therapy.
Absolutely insane use of our taxpayer money.

Your money is funding StopItNow! Australia, a government backed site that treats sexual attraction to children as something to “manage” with self acceptance, not stop.
The linked modules say:
• Treat child fantasies “like a wave” that will pass, go for a walk, do a puzzle, journal, cook.
• Don’t try to change the attraction. That could be “akin to gay conversion therapy”
• If you’re only into kids, “focus your attention exclusively on the physical sensations” while masturbating.
• “Don’t beat yourself up, it simply does not feel realistic to never have sexual fantasies about children”
• Show “compassion and self acceptance.” Having a sexual interest in kids can feel “lonely”
This is what Labor calls “prevention.”
Attorney General Michelle Rowland’s office is defending it as a royal commission recommendation.
Ongoing funding: $4 million a year.
Coalition Senator Matt O’Sullivan: “The protection of children must come first.”
The starting point is unequivocal, child sexual abuse is reprehensible and criminal. This risks normalising a sexual interest in children.
Albanese’s Labor is spending millions of your dollars giving comfort and coping strategies to people who fantasise about minors, while comparing efforts to change that attraction with historical attempts to change homosexuality.
Child safety is not a self help exercise.
It is not “mindfulness.”
It is not taxpayer funded compassion for predators.
The Albanese government has now stooped to the level funding pedophiles “feel better” guides.
You cannot make this crap up.

Back in 2004, I went to the Libertarian Party convention in Atlanta, and after the long weekend decided that I would not join. The people who run it are just too removed from the rest of the movement and the rest of the society. They didn't give shit about Iraq! the most important thing in the world at the time. Hardly heard of it apparently. Didn't know how horrible it would look invite hawks to give speeches. Just facepalm.
I tried advising the LP presidential nominee that year. That reinforced the same lesson: This is not worth the effort. I have more important things to do.
A few years ago, I finally joined the LP at the urging of my friends who were working to take the party over in the name of the actual American libertarian movement, as exemplified by the thinking and writing of Dr. Ron Paul, especially.
The real point was to get the party together before we ran Dave Smith for president, which he thankfully in retrospect decided not to do.
Well, at the last convention the libertarians didn't show up, only the Libertarians. So, a gay porn producer and new wave haircut lady and their crew took the party back over.
It really sucks because there are so many good people in the party who work very hard and fight good fights. But the organization itself, as a democracy, is just completely retarded and it always will be.
Today a friend sent me screenshots of these degenerate scum -- specifically the LP of San Francisco -- claiming the right to hurt children because they think freedom means getting away with being a piece of shit and violating the rights of helpless victims.
Send in the SWAT Team.
It's a foregone conclusion that the party leadership will do nothing about this.
The LP always has been and remains a disaster for the good name of our movement.
They'll probably run that filth Joe Walsh for president next time. He fits right in there.
So I hereby officially resign from the Libertarian Party, and will instead continue to fight for liberty by other means.
