Every investor has been there. You find an opportunity, and the first question is never "how much can I make," it's "how much am I willing to lose."
That instinct, weighing risk before reward, is the entire reason strategy exists in the first place.
If that's true for you as an individual, it should be even more true for the treasury you're trusting with your capital.
This is how we think about it 👇
Investing without a strategy is gambling, especially with the exponential increase in hacks and exploits.
The risk within DeFi is huge, and so the strategy has to be stricter.
As much as this applies to individual investors, treasuries aren't exempt from this.
But the capital a treasury manages is large, making exploits, hacks and bad decisions more detrimental.
So most treasuries are treated as safety boxes, with high TVL as a way to indicate stability, while capital remains dormant.
