No matter what, in the USA to live a successful life you HAVE to have affordable transportation. The reason the car market is fucked up today in 2026 (high prices of used cars, high prices of new) is because of government meddling. They destroyed the used market with cash for clunkers, mandated unneeded tech on new cars (the reason every car has to have a screen is because every car has to have a backup camera), bailed out failing automakers, and instituted absurd CAFE standards because the leftists think the earth is gonna die. Government intervention at its finest.
