I'll get flak for this but Stan is 100% right.
Villa's supposed intention to sue @Carra23 would have had a 99.9% chance of failure.
MUFC have been shockingly run for 13 yrs as most of those fans would attest. But they remain a "bigger" club than (the admirable) Villa.

I’d like to apologise to Aston Villa, the owners & their fans.
My language this week was clumsy & wrong.
I can assure Villa fans it was tongue in cheek but I can understand it’s not come across that way, so apologies.
Good luck today UTV!

It was a joke after the stick Villa fans have given me over saying Emery may fancy joining Man Utd!
I hope these clown clips show me praising Emery/Villa like I have done for years & saying how pleased I was you won in Istanbul!

The more Ballon D’or voters speak the more irrelevant it becomes. Condo’s voting approach: In the absence of clear favorite, vote for career.
Mbappé got Condo’s vote for being an exceptional talent running out of time of winning (career not year)
He didn’t vote for Yamal because he thinks he still has time to win in the future.
Then didn’t vote for Kane because Condo thought other voters will treat Kane like he treated Mbappe.
Pure stupidity.
Also, if this is how Condo thinks (in the absence of clear winner vote for career) then hard to reconcile this drivel with Condo’s Top 3 vote in 2025:
1- Lamine Yamal
2- Ousmane Dembélé
3- Mohamed Salah
🚨 Italian journalists, Paolo Condo, explains why he voted for Kylian Mbappé as his Ballon d'Or winner:
"In the absence of an indisputable candidate this year, I made my choices by looking beyond just this year.
By placing Kylian Mbappé at the top of my list, I hoped to prevent a player as EXCEPTIONAL as him from retiring without a Ballon d'Or.
Harry Kane is a wonderful striker at every level, but he has probably also benefited from his career to decide this Ballon d'Or, tied to his 33 years.
We have the feeling that Lamine Yamal will soon start winning the Ballon d’Or regularly and that his rival could be another Frenchman, the wonderful Michael Olise."

Its a joke he only has 8. A disgrace. They kept finding excuses to give it yo someone else. Now they give it to Kane for statpadding in a bad league and failing in Europe and the WC.
If not Messi it should've been Yamal. But it's ok because "he's only young, his turn next". 🙄

Think we all know Man Utd's first game without Carrick will be at Anfield after the international break.
They will, of course, play like Pep's Barca with someone like John O'Shea in interim charge.
