BREAKING: Quebec’s new premier, Plamondon, is SKIPPING Monday’s historic First Nations meeting in Ottawa.
He says "his nation" will speak with First Nations without going through Ottawa.
He is the REAL DEAL, totally sidelining Ottawa and the King on all matters.
Instead of joining the rare national table (and the traditional ceremony the day before)
....he’s prioritizing his own meetings with Indigenous leaders in Quebec, including the chief of the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador.

We don't have the luxury of primary races here. Remember when @Drew__Barnes spoke up? Kicked out. We have the obligation to make the position available before someone can take the chair. Never mind who, BC just proved you can make changes and still win for that matter as did Danielle Kenney prove it.

While it seems like a terrible idea to split the UCP, I see no more point in giving my vote to the CPC. I'm very interested in Mr. Barnes' new project. Very.

I've heard this before.
Giving Albertans an option for the first time since Reform is not splitting the vote.
It won't be tough for the CPC to crush Drew... They're already established. All they have to do is promote Alberta, federally.
But they won't.
Which is why we need this option.
Just Alberta this time. @albertanowparty Albertanowparty.ca

Just had a 1-on-1 with @Drew__Barnes where I asked him his plans for his new Alberta Now federal party.
My takeaways were that this is a home for:
- Conservative-minded Albertans
- Albertans that want a values based approach that doesn't shift alongside the day of the week
- Independence supporters that have been cast aside by the CPC
- Good people, in general
These are my words, not necessarily his- but I'm excited at the prospect of this new party and I wonder where it's going to take us.
Instead, consider becoming a founding member of @albertanowparty ! Albertanowparty.ca. For Albertans !
Every single federal MP from Alberta—including all 33 from the @CPC_HQ—campaigned against the independence referendum. I was there for @PierrePoilievre's recent speech in Calgary. He is in a bind and could offer nothing to the West, as his party declines in relevance.

Hey Drew I do think I signed up on your list at an event recently.
“ I am supporting @Drew__Barnes with his federal Alberta Now Party. I think there are enough disenfranchised CPC members that could make that a viable party and get a few relevant seats in Ottawa to represent Alberta. “

Well said. I know this will make me a pariah within the independence movement, but I choose Option 3. It’s going to take some humility on all sides but I think it’s the only way.
I’m not interested in a provincial independence party - there is not enough support for one and not interested in taking Danielle Smith down. I don’t agree with her on everything but she is the best option we have against a radical ridiculous NDP government.

There. I said it. I’m already a pariah with most of my friends and family for supporting Independence so may as well make it a lifestyle.
