If you’ve spent the last several days watching prominent conservatives accuse young men of tongue-kissing communism because they complained that life has become unaffordable, let us assure you that you’ve not stumbled into a Babylon Bee headline. Hold up. Maybe you have, because they’re actually on that side these days. Regardless, reality really has become this stupid. Apparently, somewhere along the way, wanting to own a modest three-bedroom home before Medicare kicks in became Marxism, and wondering why groceries now require a small business loan has become “class warfare.” Suggesting that a young husband shouldn’t need three jobs and sell a kidney on eBay just to keep his family afloat became evidence that he secretly dreams of nationalizing Chipotle. An alarming (but predictable) number of conservative commentators immediately preached the same tired sermon. “Stop whining. Eat ramen. Learn to cook. Work harder. You’re doing life wrong. The market has spoken. Only communists complain about prices.” Dan Crenshaw, the NeoCon warmonger who invented the term “Woke Right,” before James Lindsay stole it and acted like it was his, was the guy who said to “Eat Ramen.” This is the guy who voted to give $61 billion to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel, and voted to raise the government debt ceiling in the “Fiscal Responsibility Act.” That’s right - when the government went into debt paying for trans-kitty fashion shows in Morocco and subsidizing the National Institute for Immersive Mime Performance, Crenshaw raised the debt ceiling and called it “fiscal responsibility.” That one-eyed tax pirate is telling you to eat goyslop and be grateful. Homes really do cost dramatically more relative to income than they once did. Groceries really are eating a bigger share of your paycheck. Insurance really is outrageous. Starting a family really is more financially intimidating than it was a generation ago. None of that is communist propaganda. It’s called “noticing things.”

The path of life never gets easier. The climb doesn’t get less steep. Your legs just get stronger. Never quit. We have communists to wreck.

Man. If you don't see how awful Lauren, Brandy, Reilly, and Heather Scott are after this week, you can't be helped. Who craps on a group raising money for shooting heroes and victims? Really bad people.

Omg
Just a flock camera pointed right at a gun store parking lot. It's definitely NOT for building a gun owner database for a gun grab. They would never do that. #Flock #2A

How much did Bill Colley, who has a large platform (in theory), raise for the heroes and victims of the shootings? Not. A. Single. Dime.

FLORIDA DETECTIVE ARRESTED FOR USING FLOCK CAMERAS TO SPY ON HUSBAND’S EX-WIFEt Brandy Almany used police surveillance tools and Flock street cameras to track her husband’s ex, running her plate dozens of times under fake investigation numbers. She got arrested and fired, and now the whole county had to shut their cameras down. Is anyone actually surprised by this misuse? 😏

This is garbage.
Ever feel like you're being watched? You might be right. But Flock Safety cameras aren't interested in you—unless you're a kidnapper, a thief, or up to no good. @SulkinMaya dives into why people need to stop destroying tech that's actually stopping crime.

Flock and other ALPR systems log the movement of all vehicles. Flock cameras have been used to track ICE protesters and women seeking legal reproductive care. There are also over 50 documented cases of ALPRs being used for stalking. cdt.org/insights/ai-in… washingtonpost.com/technology/202…

How is fundraising and giving it to the victims and hero grifting? Or are you and Reilly just jealous?

DAVE REILLY GOT IT WRONG AGAIN. LOOK AT THE COMMUNITY NOTE.
BREAKING: Authorities have arrested a convicted felon in connection with the catastrophic wildfire that has destroyed hundreds of homes and scorched thousands of acres across the Spokane region. During a Monday evening press conference, Spokane County Sheriff John Nowels announced the arrest of 37-year-old Aaron Farinacci, who now faces an arson charge and is being held on a $1 million bond. According to investigators, a witness reported seeing Farinacci acting suspiciously in a wooded area shortly before smoke began rising from the location where the Old Trails Fire is believed to have started. Deputies initially questioned and released him that day, noting he was carrying waterproof matches and a butane lighter. After gathering additional evidence, detectives established probable cause that Farinacci was kneeling in the grass at the fire’s point of origin before the blaze erupted. Farinacci is no stranger to law enforcement. He was previously convicted of manslaughter in Arizona, raising fresh questions about why violent repeat offenders continue to find themselves back on America’s streets. The Old Trails Fire ignited Saturday afternoon near Airway Heights before racing through Riverside State Park and into residential neighborhoods in north Spokane. The fire has destroyed entire neighborhoods, forced thousands of residents to evacuate, and contributed to what officials describe as the nation’s highest wildfire priority. As of Monday evening, the fires around Spokane had burned more than 10,000 acres. Sheriff Nowels emphasized that investigators have found no evidence linking Farinacci to the other wildfires currently burning in the region. For the families who have lost homes, businesses, and communities, the arrest marks an important step toward accountability—but it cannot undo the devastation left in the fire’s wake.
