I think Tony's death devastated Friday far much more than it did even Pepper Potts.
And she was unable to.make it to his funeral.

WHY DID IT TAKE RON WEASLEY YEARS TO REALIZE HERMIONE GRANGER WAS IN LOVE WITH HIM?
The movies make Ron’s cluelessness look like a joke, but the books tell a more interesting story. Was he genuinely oblivious, or did his insecurities make it difficult for him to believe Hermione could ever see him that way?

Reiner and Bertholdt didn't just want Historia out of blind loyalty to Marley; they figured out she was the literal key to finishing their mission without getting killed or turned into mindless titans themselves.
As the secret royal bloodline hiding in plain sight, capturing her meant they could leverage the Founding Titan's true potential or use her blood to gain immense political and military leverage back home.
For Reiner specifically, it was also twisted hero syndrome, he genuinely believed that dragging her away from a doomed island to Marley was somehow "saving" her, even though it meant feeding her to the military machine.
They were desperate, burnt ou and knew that coming back empty handed after losing Marcel and the Female Titan meant a one way ticket to execution.

In Marvel Comics, Doom doesn't just rely on standard magic or tech, he built a time platform to steal cosmic power from the Beyonders and stitched together Battleworld out of dying realities during Secret Wars.
The Avengers aren't dealing with a typical villain who wants to blow up a city.
They are up against a guy who views absolute multiversal dictatorship as a moral obligation because his own calculations proved he is the only variant capable of keeping reality from collapsing.
If they try to match him on a cosmic scale, he dismantles them mathematically and magically.
The only thing that ever actually takes him down is Reed. His need to prove he's better than Reed is the one blind spot in an otherwise perfect god.

Finally somebody said it 😭 Remember when activating the Avatar State meant split-second terraforming, ocean waves the size of skyscrapers, and absolute, apocalyptic dread? Now it feels like a slight stat boost and a glow-in-the-dark eyes filter. The power-scaling downgrade is painful to watch
I feel like the bending gets weaker with every new installment in the avatar franchise. there were so many moments in this movie where i was genuinely confused about how these characters were struggling so much. aang struggling to climb a mountain, failing to stop a fire arrow, and somehow losing his footing while falling off a mountain with tagah? and don’t even get me started on how badly the avatar state was nerfed. there’s not a single moment in the movie that truly showcases its power, and when aang activates it, there’s barely any visual difference in his strength. the avatar state is supposed to be terrifyingly powerful, so why does it feel like a glorified power-up with no real impact anymore?

Wan, Roku, and Aang all kept a 10,000-year soul bond with Fire Nation leaders. Then Korra came along, severed her past lives, and ruined the streak. 💀

Lessons taken from all 4 books of Korra
Season 1: Humility
Season 2: Independence
Season 3: Vulnerability
Season 4: Compassion

What did she wanted to do to him before he blood bended her?
How can an avatar be a k!ller? Did she even learn anything from Aang ?

Blame Kyoshi. She selfishly used earthbending immortality techniques to live for 230 years, singlehandedly robbing the Fire Nation of their Avatar rotation for almost three centuries. Kyoshi ruined the Fire Nation's timeline. 😒
