After spreading a vicious lie, Acker doesn't post an apology to Haley, he simply corrects her and avoids any responsibility. What a horrible "friend"
Replying to @JordanAckerMI
She has assured me that her phone was not taken away and I believe her. Any suggestion otherwise was misinformed. This was her decision and she should own the consequences of it.

No one tried to throw Jared Golden down the Democratic Party's memory hole when he endorsed Mike Lawler. What's happening to Haley Stevens is barbarous and misogynistic.

Stevens to those suggesting her fiance influenced her: “That is sexism dressed up as political analysis. My fiancé has his own views. I have mine. I made this decision, and I am proud of it. Do not question my independence simply because you disagree with my conclusion.”

This is some seriously powerful stuff and gives voice to what so many of us have experienced in this bruising and deeply disappointing election.

This type of fearmongering about Israel is wrong. It is not a winning strategy for any state. It does nothing to help Michigan Democrats win up and down the ballot in eight days. Do we need to lower costs by building more homes, securing people’s health care, and creating a fairer federal tax code? Yes, we do!! How we do so is not by blaming the high costs of our goods on the only Jewish homeland in the world. I want to see Democrats succeed at every level, and that means keeping our focus on lowering costs for Michigan families and reining in this out-of-control President.
New @RebellionPac ad dropping in Michigan. We have to suffer here at home, so Israel can get all its wars. That’s why they buy politicians like Mike Rogers. He promised to serve Israel “unconditionally,” but never made that promise to you.

You want to know what desperate looks like? Blaming the price of bananas on Israel. Consider this PAC ad just another example of scapegoating the Jewish state. At least we can thank them for a case study in antisemitism.

This is the most antisemitic ad I’ve seen in years! Blood libel, blaming Jews/Israel for our economic woes, & the lie that we’re paying for Israel’s healthcare. This is playing on centuries old antisemitic tropes. (I’m not even going to touch the dog-whistle “they/them” line.

An Iranian-American student at Michigan stood up, named the IRGC, named the hunt for his cousin over a hijab, and asked Abdul El-Sayed a simple question: do you stand with us? El-Sayed answered like a man protecting a talking point. Sanctions hurt civilians. Regime-change wars serve corporate interests. Freedom and democracy for all people, including Iranians. Then he sat back down on the same moral furniture he never uses for Israel. That is the tell to look for among leftists. For Palestinians he has a prosecutor’s voice: genocide, embargo, isolate, intervene, punish Israel (which is an ally of United States). For Iranians he has a greeting-card. He will not say IRGC. He will not say Islamic Republic. He will not match the heat he aims at Jerusalem with a single hard sentence about the people who shot innocent Iranians in the street in January or hanged them since. He warns that American pressure “only hurts civilians.” The civilians in question were already being hunted by the IRGC before a single new sanction was printed. The student said it to his face: we are dying. El-Sayed converted a massacre into a lecture about oil and contractors. This is not anti-war consistency. It is a caste system of victims. One file gets rallies, resolutions, and a demand that United States break an ally. The other file gets “I wish you freedom” and a warning not to touch the regime that produces the bodies. If the death toll in January had carried a Palestinian flag, he would have called it a crime against humanity before the blood dried. Because it was Iranian, it became a cautionary tale about American hubris. The left’s selective outrage is not a mystery anymore. It is a hierarchy. Iranians are expected to overthrow a theocracy unarmed and with slogans while he treats any outside pressure as imperialism. Israel is expected to be sanctioned into the ground. Same campus. Same microphone. Two moral codes. If you cannot condemn the IRGC as plainly as you condemn Israel, you do not stand with freedom. You stand with the audience that claps for one pile of dead and looks away from the other.

700,000 Black women have become unemployed since the start of Trump 2. Women are being attacked legislatively with the loss of reproductive rights, education access, and more. And Jasmine Crockett made time to glorify an abuser of women who JUST settled a case for letting a dog mangle his employees

It was not Hasan Piker but Abdul el-Sayed himself who suggested that the terror attack on a West Bloomfield, Michigan, synagogue and preschool should be blamed on Israel, not the Hezbollah-affiliated gunman who tried to murder 140 children.
Abdul El-Sayed: "Weijia, with all due respect, this is the third time you've asked about a Twitch streamer in California ... their whole game is to make us fight culture wars so that we don't pay attention to the fact the president has made $2.2 billion ... I'm not all that interested in having a conversation about a Twitch streamer"

Van Jones on Abdul El-Sayed ⬇️ "These people are incredibly dangerous... I know Abdul, his positions on Israel and foreign policy are INSANE. They're not reasonable reactions to anything." "Abdul's position is a total and complete arms embargo against the State of Israel, including defensive weapons. That's an insane position." "It offends me because Barack Obama was a part of creating that Iron Dome... So, you're telling me you're smarter than Barack Obama? You have better ideas about foreign policy than Barack Obama? And you want to de-plug and defund and take away Israel's—half the world's Jews—ability to defend themselves?"

Van Jones is more honest and a better friend to the Jewish community than Axelrod (who’s Jewish).
David Axelrod and Van Jones debate AIPAC re: #MISen ⬇️ Axelrod: “It's a legitimate question. Should essentially an agent of any foreign government, whether it's Israel or any other, be able to spend.. $30 million in a race like this to influence the outcome of that race?” Van Jones: “I don't think that they're an agent of a foreign power. I think they're American Jews… Their issue is to protect Israel… Why is AIPAC so mad? This guy is saying that the U.S. government can't even sell defensive weapons to Israel, which would make Israel completely defenseless. Now that would be a reason for a group of people who cares about Israelis to say this is not our guy.”

What I have learned tonight is a lot of pollsters and pundits in the Democratic Party ecosystem are very good at talking to white college educated voters (like themselves) and have real blind spots with working class people of all races.

🔥 @hasanthehun popped the fuck off here: "Everyone being like, 'Abdul has a fuck-ton of work to do mending bridges', here's the fucking take nuke for you: You are all unbelievably Islamophobic pieces of shit. You literally called the dude a fucking terrorist for months on end and called him a sexist, misogynist, terrorist, bad candidate, fake doctor when he has two fucking degrees. And now you're going to say sit there and be like, 'you really gotta come to me now.' What are you talking about? Do you wanna win or not? LOCK THE FUCK IN."

Abdul, we were both on the ballot in 2018. I was capable of winning my competitive primary and general election. You lost. You lost by over twenty points to Gretchen Whitmer and you will lose to Mike Rogers by talking like this. Everyone in America understands you want to blame all of your problems on Jewish Americans. But buddy, let me be very clear, I will lower the costs of groceries, ban stock trading for elected officials, stop Trump's abuses of power, and protect Michigan manufacturing. And you’ll just be a celebrity whining and writing books to get even richer. You’re part of the complainer class, looking for their next book or podcast deal. Bro, I just want to work for Michigan.
Abdul El-Sayed to AIPAC: "Come for me!" "You picked [Haley Stevens] the least capable candidate in America. If you think you can beat money out of politics, money in your pocket, medicare for all, come. I'll tell you what people dont want: money in a foreign govt" @AbdulElSayed
