Earnings season kicks off this week. The big banks go first. JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, and Citi all report Tuesday. Bank of America and Morgan Stanley follow Wednesday. Johnson & Johnson and UnitedHealth also report Tuesday, so we get an early check on healthcare too. And TSMC on Thursday gives us a read on the AI trade.

As always a nice weekly piece from @EricSoda. Hadn't realized the extent of the pile-in into the Mag-7 Eric points out. Goldman (via @dailychartbook) notes hedge funds have seen their net exposure to the Mag-7 as a percent of total US exposure reach 22%, a record high since tracking started in 2022. Meanwhile the $MAGS Mag-7 ETF just saw its biggest month inflow on record (via @Barchart). Eric notes: "Hedge funds, wealthy clients, and retail are all crowded into the same seven stocks. I’m on that boat too. Crowded trades can keep working for a long time. But when they unwind, everyone heads for the same exit at once."
