The more I travel to Koparkhairne - Vashi belt, the more I realise the need of direct metro connectivity and a lost opportunity. Line 6 should have been till Ghansoli station - Millenium Business park in the first phase itself instead of restricting it till Vikhroli. 1/3

Everyone wants water, but everyone wants to oppose dams. Everyone wants electricity, but everyone wants to oppose power plants. Everyone wants a dignified commute, but everyone wants to oppose car sheds. Everyone wants the dollar to fall, but everyone is against mining of natural resources or manufacturing. Everyone wants their home to be made of concrete, but everyone wants all construction to halt in cities. Everyone wants to be rich, but everyone wants communism when they see the actual rich. Everyone wants free speech, but everyone wants to be offended over someone's opinion. Kya chutiya desh hai BC.

Thane Interchange of Thane Borivali Twin Tunnel Project, along with TCR connector. Being executed by @MMRDAOfficial Another Marvel like Worli Interchange in the making, but this time, it'll be underground, making it undoubtedly the most complex project to execute in MMR Region. But the end product will not only connect Borivali and Thane, but also extend to the Currently under construction Thane Coastal Road. Full video with more details uploaded on my YouTube Channel. The Tata Power plants and their associated dams across Lonavala, Khopoli, Mulshi, Bhira and Bhivpuri have been around since the British era. These projects played a significant role in supplying electricity to Mumbai and supporting its industrial development. They are also among the key infrastructure developments that helped Mumbai grow into the modern, global city it is today. Had these projects faced opposition back then, would Mumbai have become the same thriving metropolis it is today? Similarly, the dams built to supply water to Mumbai in Shahapur taluka also date back to the British era. Their vision and foresight in developing modern infrastructure are often appreciated. But when it comes to undertaking similar projects today, the issue of deforestation immediately becomes a major point of opposition. Of course, environmental protection is essential while developing infrastructure. However, isn't it a double standard to applaud older projects for their contribution to development while opposing similar projects today?

SBI confirms data breach, says 3.75 lakh records exposed on dark web The State Bank of India (SBI) has confirmed a data loss incident involving the suspected exposure of customer information on the dark web, reporting that a preliminary assessment identified approximately 3.75 lakh records, including 3,897 customer records containing personally identifiable information. In a letter dated October 21, 2026, to the BSE and the National Stock Exchange, SBI said it received alerts on October 16 from its Threat Intelligence Service Provider, the Defence Cyber Agency and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) about the suspected exposure of customer data on the dark web. The bank said the preliminary analysis identified approximately 375,000 records. Of these, 3,897 customer records contained personally identifiable information (PII). What information has been compromised? The exposed information reportedly included customers’ registered mobile numbers, dates of birth, names, gender, email addresses, residential addresses, branch and customer identification details, lead IDs and metadata associated with loan and lead records, along with other related files. SBI initiates investigation into customer data exposure SBI said a detailed investigation was required to establish the authenticity and completeness of the exposed data, determine the potential source and extent of the exposure, and assess the risks to customers and the bank. The bank said it activated its cyber incident response and containment protocols after receiving the alerts. It also engaged an independent cybersecurity agency empanelled by CERT-In to assess and investigate the nature and extent of the suspected compromise. Bank says core operations remain unaffected SBI said the incident had no material impact on its core business operations, financial performance or business continuity. The bank added that its core functions continued to operate normally without disruption. A detailed assessment was under way, and remedial and preventive measures were being implemented as required. SBI said it would continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate measures in accordance with regulatory requirements. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. #SBIdatabreach #India #CyberSecurity

I think what is actually needed is for Indian people to actually give a damn about their cities and fellow citizens. Anybody using the "I pay taxes, I shouldn't have to do anything" excuse should go live in another country. India isn't developed, it's developing, so it needs patriots, not parasites. If this triggers you, it means you're part of the problem. If you're not happy with the footpath (or a pothole, or anything else which is broken), fix it, or call someone to fix it, and don't give up until it's fixed. Be relentless. Be vocal. Be creative. Make it your mission to get that one thing fixed. Look at what Virendra (@Virendra0698) did by just calling the right people and being respectful (but also persistent). He and Arun Pai (@arunpaiblrwalks) along with the help of GBA and some wonderful volunteers turned an unofficial garbage dump into a pristine, beautiful footpath through sheer force of will. xitter.cf/Virendra0698/status/21…

Masterclass in how to spread disinformation on Instagram ft. @fayedsouza 27/08 - @sabahvir reports there is a height-related problem with Metro Line 7A viaduct due to airport funnel zone. If AAI and MMRDA don't find a common ground, it "MIGHT" require reconstruction worth INR 250 crore. 27/08 - I post the below tweet, explaining how the issue is actually very minor and a fix is rather easy to find. Engineering is bound have teething issues in every project. 01/09 - @fayedsouza without any source, legal work order or expert input declares that an entire 1km long section "WILL BE" demolished for reconstruction. News spreads like wildfire, and her followers go insane, wondering how many schools could've been built in 250 crores, and how PM Cares Fund will be used to rectify the non-existent error (typical room temp IQ cohort). 14/10 - @sabahvir follows-up, and confirms reconstruction NOT required. AAI x MIAL x MMRDA repeat exactly what I suggested earlier. How much money wasted? INR 0. (Link: indianexpress.com/article/ci…) But the psychological damage is already done within the minds of the hyper-ventilating youth. Folks like @TheBanat pickup precisely such rotten breadcrumbs to make up a comedy sketch and further amplify, without ever having the correct context. Do you know what's worse? @fayedsouza will neither post the follow-up about NO RECONSTRUCTION, nor will she ever apologize for the initial false reporting to begin with. An entire HIT JOB against a Metro project in Mumbai successfully completed. One one side you have on-ground newspaper reporters doing all the tough work to collate, dig around, and inform. And on the other side we have these social media champagne charlatans who cannot even copy-paste headlines properly. Even more sad to see @nikhilkamathcio back such evil, crooked, compromised dimaagi-naxals who are actively waging an information war against the country. A problem hugely blown out of proportion. Ultimately AAI will update the funnel zone. The elevated Metro alignment is away from RW14 approach path, even though a little close-by. Not a big deal, especially considering the secondary runway handles only narrow bodies. With NMI functional, in case there is a 2019-type Spicejet over-run at RW27, flights can always divert. Third-rail isn't a solution for the Metro. Line 2/7/9 rolling stock is BEML OHE based and operates out of Malad Depot. AAI will have to make a compromise. I am just hoping MMRDA holds its position firmly. Never know when their idiot IAS chief decides it is time to float a new destroy and build again contract.
