The more I travel to Koparkhairne - Vashi belt, the more I realise the need of direct metro connectivity and a lost opportunity. Line 6 should have been till Ghansoli station - Millenium Business park in the first phase itself instead of restricting it till Vikhroli. 1/3

It’s time to abolish workers special @AshwiniVaishnaw. Anyways more time is spent by your workers in unionbazi than in the depot works.
Thane, Maharashtra - A commotion broke out at Thane railway station after railway staff allegedly kept the doors of a coach on a slow local train bound for Kalyan locked from the inside, leaving passengers waiting on Platform No. 2 frustrated and helpless, passengers repeatedly requested the railway employees to open the coach doors. However, despite pleas lasting around two to three minutes, the staff allegedly did not respond by opening the doors. Angered by the situation, one passenger protested by throwing water at the closed coach door to express his frustration over the staff's alleged refusal to let passengers enter.

We want water supply from dams, uninterrupted power supply, traffic free roads, ever increasing number of trains But the moment there is any proposal for such an infrastructure project we all will protest against it

Today's Central Railway signal failure highlights why Mumbai urgently needs alternative transport options like Metro Line 4 & Line 5, especially for the Eastern Suburbs, Thane and Dombivli. With poor BEST services in the Eastern Suburbs, particularly north–south connectivity,
🚆 Train Update | Suburban Services Due to a technical failure in the signalling system at Kanjurmarg station around 09:33 hrs, the issue was rectified at 19:35 hrs. All six lines have been restored to normal working. However, due to train bunching, suburban services are running late. Suburban train operations are gradually returning to normal. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.

Everyone wants water, but everyone wants to oppose dams. Everyone wants electricity, but everyone wants to oppose power plants. Everyone wants a dignified commute, but everyone wants to oppose car sheds. Everyone wants the dollar to fall, but everyone is against mining of natural resources or manufacturing. Everyone wants their home to be made of concrete, but everyone wants all construction to halt in cities. Everyone wants to be rich, but everyone wants communism when they see the actual rich. Everyone wants free speech, but everyone wants to be offended over someone's opinion. Kya chutiya desh hai BC.

Thane Interchange of Thane Borivali Twin Tunnel Project, along with TCR connector. Being executed by @MMRDAOfficial Another Marvel like Worli Interchange in the making, but this time, it'll be underground, making it undoubtedly the most complex project to execute in MMR Region. But the end product will not only connect Borivali and Thane, but also extend to the Currently under construction Thane Coastal Road. Full video with more details uploaded on my YouTube Channel. The Tata Power plants and their associated dams across Lonavala, Khopoli, Mulshi, Bhira and Bhivpuri have been around since the British era. These projects played a significant role in supplying electricity to Mumbai and supporting its industrial development. They are also among the key infrastructure developments that helped Mumbai grow into the modern, global city it is today. Had these projects faced opposition back then, would Mumbai have become the same thriving metropolis it is today? Similarly, the dams built to supply water to Mumbai in Shahapur taluka also date back to the British era. Their vision and foresight in developing modern infrastructure are often appreciated. But when it comes to undertaking similar projects today, the issue of deforestation immediately becomes a major point of opposition. Of course, environmental protection is essential while developing infrastructure. However, isn't it a double standard to applaud older projects for their contribution to development while opposing similar projects today?

SBI confirms data breach, says 3.75 lakh records exposed on dark web The State Bank of India (SBI) has confirmed a data loss incident involving the suspected exposure of customer information on the dark web, reporting that a preliminary assessment identified approximately 3.75 lakh records, including 3,897 customer records containing personally identifiable information. In a letter dated October 21, 2026, to the BSE and the National Stock Exchange, SBI said it received alerts on October 16 from its Threat Intelligence Service Provider, the Defence Cyber Agency and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) about the suspected exposure of customer data on the dark web. The bank said the preliminary analysis identified approximately 375,000 records. Of these, 3,897 customer records contained personally identifiable information (PII). What information has been compromised? The exposed information reportedly included customers’ registered mobile numbers, dates of birth, names, gender, email addresses, residential addresses, branch and customer identification details, lead IDs and metadata associated with loan and lead records, along with other related files. SBI initiates investigation into customer data exposure SBI said a detailed investigation was required to establish the authenticity and completeness of the exposed data, determine the potential source and extent of the exposure, and assess the risks to customers and the bank. The bank said it activated its cyber incident response and containment protocols after receiving the alerts. It also engaged an independent cybersecurity agency empanelled by CERT-In to assess and investigate the nature and extent of the suspected compromise. Bank says core operations remain unaffected SBI said the incident had no material impact on its core business operations, financial performance or business continuity. The bank added that its core functions continued to operate normally without disruption. A detailed assessment was under way, and remedial and preventive measures were being implemented as required. SBI said it would continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate measures in accordance with regulatory requirements. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. #SBIdatabreach #India #CyberSecurity

I think what is actually needed is for Indian people to actually give a damn about their cities and fellow citizens. Anybody using the "I pay taxes, I shouldn't have to do anything" excuse should go live in another country. India isn't developed, it's developing, so it needs patriots, not parasites. If this triggers you, it means you're part of the problem. If you're not happy with the footpath (or a pothole, or anything else which is broken), fix it, or call someone to fix it, and don't give up until it's fixed. Be relentless. Be vocal. Be creative. Make it your mission to get that one thing fixed. Look at what Virendra (@Virendra0698) did by just calling the right people and being respectful (but also persistent). He and Arun Pai (@arunpaiblrwalks) along with the help of GBA and some wonderful volunteers turned an unofficial garbage dump into a pristine, beautiful footpath through sheer force of will. xitter.cf/Virendra0698/status/21…
