We talk a lot about brand in leadership, but the truth is, our real brand isn’t a logo or a tagline. It’s the energy we bring into the room, the tone we set, and how people feel after they’ve interacted with us. Your smile signals approachability. Your personality tells your story. Your trademark is how you make people feel. So today, remember that your everyday interactions are shaping your legacy, one impression at a time.🤍

As we head into the holiday, today might feel like a scramble to finish what won’t wait until next week. If your to-do list still has too many unchecked boxes, you’re not alone. You’ve shown up, led well, and earned this break. Step away with a clear head and a full heart and enjoy the holiday weekend! The work will be here when you return, but so will you—rested and ready!

Happy #NationalPrincipalsDay to the only people who can calm a kindergartener, decode a teen’s eye roll, and fix the copier—all before 9am. Thank you to our @FCPSMaryland principals for everything you do—seen and unseen—to lead schools and shape students’ lives every day. And to principals near and far—those I worked with, alongside, & for—keep showing up! You matter!
