#NUFC stuff

With Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak having diplomatic immunity and Emirati officials warning UK Gov that the 115 charges may impact major investment and UK/UAE relations - maybe the legally binding assurances from PIF/SA were more about this than the piracy. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️ #NUFC

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: Premier League confirm an independent Commission has found Manchester City GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES related to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules over a nine-season period, and the majority of charges in relation to its failure to co-operate with the League’s investigation. The club has the right to appeal the independent Commission’s findings and has until Friday 2 October to exercise that right. The Premier League Board’s intention is that the full process (including any appeals and publication of relevant decisions) is concluded as soon as possible. The independent Commission found that between Seasons 2009/10 and 2017/18: - Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ contracts (which misrepresented the true agreement between the parties) with a number of its commercial partners, as well as relying on ‘sham’ agreements with others, to artificially inflate the club’s revenues and reduce its costs - The club filed misstated accounts and concealed the true state of its finances from its auditors and football regulators - Manchester City was significantly in breach of both the Premier League’s and UEFA’s spending limits - During the Premier League’s investigation, Manchester City committed multiple breaches of its duties of co-operation and utmost good faith towards the League (three of the four alleged breaches were upheld)

Shuddering irony in that he’s said this in response to me bringing up the European Super League. A competition set up as a guaranteed place at Europe’s top table for a select bunch of clubs. A short cut. They’re dead set against it. You just sometimes have to remind them.
This week has illustrated perfectly why Abu Dhabi & Saudi chose City & Newcastle for their sports washing projects - desperate, success-starved fans with severe delusions of grandeur, willing to accept any sort of potential short cut to the top

There’s no way Szoboszlai pushed him and then immediately ran off to fix his hair.

He’s spot on. I love Palmer as a player, but you can’t bin off playing for your country for “load management” then expect to waltz into the team for major tournaments. These 4 games were a huge opportunity for both him and Mainoo to prove a point and yet both have binned it off.
🗣️ "It's a missed opportunity. He misses too many opportunities. He misses way too many camps with injuries." Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer being absent from his squad due to an injury ⤵️

I was told the Premier League's financial rules are there to secure the long-term financial sustainability of clubs.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Your entire disgusting, filthy opinion is based on narratives; it’s hard to have a conversation with someone who is completely innumerate.

It’s not my fault that you don’t understand anything and have a low IQ; just let it go and accept that you have no idea how SCR works.

The art of pressing and how valuable it is. He took out 2/3 players & subsequent passing options in their backline/build-up by how he angled his run from pressuring one player to the next. Kept us up the pitch so many times. Nobody has done it like that for #NUFC since Wilson.
Pressing machine. 🏎️👏 Matias Fernandez-Pardo had the most sprints (28) in the Premier League this weekend.

It was there - I was criticising them every week for not controlling the game. Same stuff, really.

Remember when half of the fan base argued Isak was a left winger, not a striker in his first year? Aye, apply that to Matias Fernandez-Pardo. #NUFC

For any divvy claiming I’m making it up. Takes 2 seconds to find an ocean of evidence, and clearly a lot of others remember as I do.

After watching the Jaissle presser, those quotes about Murphy aren't quite as posted yesterday. "He's played the role many times, is intelligent, & knows exactly what the gaffer is demanding". To me, that's a statement expecting much better/more, opposed to a sole backing. #NUFC

I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the alleged delay on Man U’s new stadium. Press have jumped on the latest date of Phase 2. In news for Newcastle’s new stadium, the Stadium Regeneration Accelerator (a key document for us) will be published soon. 🏟️ ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️ #NUFC
