BREAKING: Longtime Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic has conceded defeat in parliamentary elections to the Student List, a widespread student movement that has mobilized against Vucic's increasingly authoritarian rule over the last two years. The election is a considerable victory for the pro democracy movement in Serbia.

BREAKING: The Israeli Defense Forces and the United States military have drawn up plans for a renewal of strikes against Iran in the coming weeks, with the strikes almost certainly taking place after the midterm elections, according to two Israeli sources that spoke with ABC.
This follows an increase of Iranian attacks against commercial shipping throughout October, as well as recent reports of a U.S. withdrawal of troops and diplomats from multiple bases in the Middle East in the last few days.

BREAKING: Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi and Kevin Cramer of North Dakota visited Kyiv on Friday with a pair of house lawmakers, where they met with several Ukrainian defense officials and suggested a deal to President Zelensky, according to the WSJ.
In this alleged deal, Ukraine would temporarily pause from striking Russian energy assets; in return, the U.S. would expand Ukraine's Starlink satellite coverage up to roughly 300 inside Russia, which would help Ukraine take out ballistic missile launchers.
It remains to be seen if these senators have the ability to make this deal happen, and if Trump is even willing to make such a deal given his increasing criticism of President Zelensky and Ukraine's continued strikes against Russian oil refineries

BREAKING: Donald Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner told Ukrainian officials last Friday that allowing Russia to export diesel is an attempt to get Putin back to the negotiating table and end the war, also telling them that Putin has so far been unwilling to negotiate an end to the war and that this deal could help restart the talks, according to Reuters.
Donald Trump also wanted Ukraine to stop striking Russian refineries, with the idea being that once Ukraine has stopped these attacks, the U.S. could go back to Russia and say, "Ukraine has now stopped attacking your refineries, and we gave you this deal; now it's your turn to do something."
This topic was only a small part of the conversation to get Russia and Ukraine back to the table, with security guarantees also being discussed during the meeting last Friday.
