So here’s what we’ve learned about the devout #AI disciples out there…
You can proudly flex your 10 year old daughter’s exceptionally crafted artwork and declare it an example of what hard work and dedication can produce…
…and the AI bros will respond with anger, jealousy, rage, insults, vandalism, deflection, projection sarcasm and even actual THREATS!
But what they absolutely WILL NOT and CANNOT respond with is artwork of equal merit.
Isn’t that interesting?
Doesn’t that tell us something?
If #aigeneratedimage “art” is so great, why not flex back?
They can’t.
Because they know that no matter how “pretty” their “art” is, it can never, ever compete with the authenticity of human creativity - let alone the creativity of a child.
As I’ve said many times, I do not wish for AI to be banned, boycotted or regulated… I’ve always only ever called for a conversation to be had about its ethical use (see video in replies for my detailed and entirely reasonable explanation of my nuanced position).
But, if I’ve learned anything from this little experiment, it’s that the AI bros are TERRIFIED of talking about “ethics” because 99% of them don’t have any.
Like… none at all.
Blame society, blame bad parenting, blame the internet… blame whoever you want… they’re almost all hateful, narcissistic, nihilistic, selfish, agitated, unloved, irritable, spoiled, impatient, dopamine-addicted “gimme candy NOW!” brats and when you tell them their diaper smells like shit, they throw a tantrum at the prospect of potty training.
Now, if you were offended by that assessment, you are obviously exactly who I’m talking about.
If you’re the exception to the rule, you’ll shrug it off.
The fact remains: AI can never, ever hope to match human authenticity.
It can only hope to mimic it.
So - to my fellow artists, aspiring artists and those who appreciate the arts, rest easy… AI imagery and actual art don’t exist in the same category.
We’d won this war before it even started.

This has happened to us as well. I'm ok if someone makes something like this if they give credit, but to outright say "we don't need to credit the artists" is stupid.
I do not approve with how this is being handled and ask you not to buy their stuff until they credit all artists.
