I refused.
What followed was years of surveillance. The communist regime targeted me, my wife and my fellow opposition activists with covert investigations. They deployed informants, monitored our movements and bugged our workplaces and homes.
The documents speak for themselves. This was how the communists dealt with those who dared to stand up against them.
