"Citing texts from Manusmriti and Vedas, a sessions court in Gandhinagar convicted three persons and sentenced them to rigorous life imprisonment for cow slaughtering."
Absolutely barbaric and backward.
Read that again. A court in a modern democracy, quoting scripture to send people to prison for life.
These are Hindu blasphemy laws in all but name.
And the same people who sneer at the Taliban will cheer this, never noticing they're looking in a mirror.
These aren't courts of law. They're courts of faith.

The strongest argument I’ve ever heard in defence of patriarchy is the hot chapati. Someone has to keep making them while everyone else eats, and that someone is rarely the man demanding another.
But what happens when you draw a line between rice-eating and roti-eating India? The Census, economists and several decades of research start telling a rather curious story.
Introducing Rotinomics: where a humble flatbread finds itself accused of being an accessory to patriarchy.

When they came next day they saw poster of BJP MLA Ashwath Narayana taking credit for it.
This made them furious and they are calling this out.

A serving CRPF jawan, a man who stands guard at the border to protect this nation, gets admitted to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala for treatment. He walks into the ward’s bathroom and finds a whole stash of drug paraphernalia: used syringes, foil packets, and lighters.
He films it because he understands his duty.
But what does Mann’s administration do?
They discharge HIM.
A DSP reportedly slaps him in broad daylight, knocks off his turban, and snatches his phone to destroy the video.
Then, at 12:30 AM, AAP’s police show up like thugs, snatch him off the street, and leave his wife sobbing on the cold asphalt, begging them not to take her husband.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
You ran your entire campaign screaming about “Inquilab” and promising to wipe out the drug mafia.
Now, when someone exposes drug paraphernalia inside state’s hospitals, your police allegedly assault him and throw him in a lockup in the middle of the night?
Absolute shameless cowardice.
RELEASE SONU IMMEDIATELY.
A CRPF jawan claims he found syringes, packets allegedly linked to drug use and lighters in a bathroom at Patiala’s Government Rajindra Hospital. After he raised the issue, he and his wife allege, the matter escalated into a confrontation with hospital staff and police. His wife now seeks his release after claiming he was taken away late at night.
