bitcoin:native 12H chart: Needs a clean break above $82k and a successful retest that holds as support before this looks like a real reversal. Yesterday’s post-midterms bounce (from the ~$75.6k election-night low up through $81k) came with solid volume on both micro and macro timeframes. But, it still failed to print a higher high off the Oct 29–30 dump. Structure remains lower highs and lower lows.

The Greek crisis kicked off in late June 2015, right as the crypto bull run was just getting started. People over there treated Bitcoin like a safe place to park their money once the banks shut down and capital controls locked everything up. Now Paraguay’s showing the exact same thing in real time. One big digital bank collapses, nearly 3 million people get locked out of their accounts overnight, mutual funds freeze withdrawals, and the whole payments system seizes up. That’s why holding your own BTC beats trusting a bank with everything. Thankfully, Australian banks are far better capitalised and liquid than the typical emerging-market bank that fails this way. Australia's bank's Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) sits around 130%+. That means they hold enough easy-to-sell assets (cash, government bonds, etc.) to cover 130% of the cash they might have to pay out over a tough 30-day period, well above the 100% minimum. Think of it as keeping spare cash in the till so you can still pay everyone who wants their money back even if a lot of people show up at once. Australia's banks total capital is around 20%. A 20% capital ratio means for every $100 of risk-weighted assets, the bank has about $20 of its own money as a buffer against losses. That’s a strong cushion by global standards and gives the bank room to absorb hits without collapsing. The system hasn’t had a major depositor loss since the 1930s, and small neobanks have closed without losses to customers. All that sounds well and good, but if a serious bank run ever hit Australia, temporary freezes or withdrawal limits would be a real possibility to stop the bleeding, other countries have done exactly that in similar crises. And don’t forget: “bank customer” is a bit misleading. Depositors/customers are technically unsecured creditors. Unsecured creditors are the last to get their money. The $250k guarantee covers you up to that amount if the government activates the Financial Claims Scheme. For anything above $250k, you become a claim in any liquidation. Under the Banking Act, those excess amounts actually rank ahead of most ordinary unsecured creditors (after APRA recovers what it paid out under the scheme), but recovery still depends on what assets are left and is not guaranteed. That said, the Paraguay episode shows how quickly a digital bank deeply embedded in payments can freeze a large share of the population. The same dynamic exists in Australia, just with stronger backstops and a central bank that can create reserves on demand. The main residual risks are amounts above $250k, temporary payment freezes while authorities sort it out, and potential contagion if confidence in the whole system cracks.
🚨Turmoil erupts in Paraguay as one bank’s collapse spirals into a NATIONAL CRISIS. Ueno Bank, the country’s largest digital bank, has been seized by the Central bank after its solvency ratio plunged below half the legal minimum, leaving nearly 3 MILLION customers unable to access accounts, cards and transfers. That’s almost 60% of Paraguay’s adult population. Angry citizens have now taken to the streets demanding access to their money. The disruption has spread beyond the bank- 13 mutual funds have reportedly frozen withdrawals, and trading in Ueno’s bonds has been suspended. Nearly $380 MILLION belonging to the state pension fund is caught in the crisis. The problem is how deeply Ueno was embedded in everyday payments. It handled two-thirds of card payments at major stores. With those services frozen, Paraguay’s main importers’ association describes retail activity as “semi-paralyzed.” Customers have been told they can initially recover up to $1,700, with no payment date given. The political fallout is mounting with the Central Bank chief Carlos Carvallo resigning, and authorities having arrested 8 executives from the bank over suspected breach of trust.

🚨 PARAGUAY 🇵🇾 RIOTS IN THE STREETS AFTER 3 MILLION PEOPLE GOT LOCKED OUT OF THEIR OWN MONEY The central bank shut down Ueno Bank, one of the biggest banks in the country. 3 million customers. About 60% of all adults in Paraguay. Salaries. Pensions. Savings. FROZEN. No app. No cards. No ATMs. Even $380 million of the state pension fund is stuck inside. Covid locked people inside their homes. This locked them out of their own money. Then it turned POLITICAL. President Santiago Peña, the right-wing friend of Milei and Kast, was a SHAREHOLDER in Ueno's holding company until 2025. And the man he picked to run the central bank in 2023 used to run Ueno. Within 24 hours: • the central bank chief signed his resignation after Peña asked for it • Ueno's CEO handed himself in to police, 5 more executives DETAINED • crowds in central Asunción demanding Peña's exit • the opposition pushing to impeach him The last time Paraguay's banks broke, in 1995, more than half of them went down. If you want the parts of this story Paraguay's government would rather you never heard, follow me.

🧵Zooming in on the ethereum:native 12-hour, price action over roughly the last five months shows a zone that flipped from support into resistance. The question is whether price breaks through or delivers a failed fake-out. I’ve been watching the US midterms for clues on the market reaction. The USD weakened after the Democratic sweep, while oil had already been soft on Iran-talks hopes and stayed mixed afterward. Risk assets were uneven, equities recovered from an initial dip, but crypto stayed more range-bound. Tomorrow’s ETH candle and its volume will be telling: higher highs or lower highs. I’m still standing by a dip. My line in the sand for adding is when this area flips back to support. My current read is that the 6-hour and 4-hour may be setting up a bullish divergence, price making lower lows while the strength indicator shows higher lows. That raises the question of why some risk assets are firming. In the 2015 Greek crisis, Bitcoin saw increased local and European interest as people looked for a way to move value outside capital controls and potential devaluation risk, and the price rose modestly at the time. The absolute flows were small and it wasn’t a major boom driven by Greek buyers, but it showed the “outside government control” demand that still exists when confidence in local currency or banking systems drops.

I’ve kept pointing out that current ethereum:native price action is mirroring the setup from May–June 2025, so let’s look at what it actually did then. That range held as a base before the next leg higher into July. The structure looks similar now, price has bounced off the recent lows and is ranging under the same kind of moving-average cluster. What it did next in mid-2025 was break out of that consolidation and run. Whether it repeats is the open question

Applying the mirroring candle (marked in yellow on the chart): yes, there’s a mirroring candle tool/indicator 😆. The earlier setup had sideways action and a retest of support around $2,380, so that zone is now my new potential entry level. The market is treating roughly $2,500 as resistance, with the volume profile showing the heaviest order interest clustered in that area (visible in the yellow oval). I might be owing a few beers.

When Multicultural excludes Australian culture. This is a government-sanctioned invasion. They’re not coming to integrate or assimilate. But go on, be good little kind people whilst your government tells them to bring their culture and customs. Labor is expediting the destruction of our once great country. Why is every non-western country permitted to protect their culture, but it’s illegal for Australians to?

It was my honour to meet our Victorian volunteer who was allegedly attacked after having One Nation signs in his backyard. His injuries are serious and he has long road to recovery ahead. I want to thank everyone who has supported him and his family by raising a quarter of a million dollars for him. Guess what he said when I met him? He wants to get home to put his signs back up. What a trooper. But this is the kind of violence that Victorians are having to deal with every day as well as a court system that treats bail as a catch and release program. Criminals who are here on a visa should be rounded up and sent home. Australians are sick of their safety being put second.

USB data blockers are a smart, simple precaution. They let your phone charge normally while physically blocking any data connection, so you can safely plug into public chargers without risking juice jacking or malware. Community Notes says there are no real-world cases, but I’d rather be safe than sorry.
Claude Code found that every free charging station i used in airports copied data from my phone. photos, passwords, banking sessions, contacts. i charged my phone at 3 airports across China and every single station pulled something from my device. i travel through Asia a lot for work. my phone dies at airports constantly. i've used those free USB charging stations at gates without thinking about it. everyone does. i installed Claude Code on my iPhone and ran a full device scan while i was still at the airport. plugged into a charging station at the gate and let Claude Code monitor the connection in real time. within 8 seconds it flagged a data handshake that shouldn't exist on a power-only connection. i went back and checked every charging session from the last 4 months: → Shanghai Pudong PVG, Terminal 2 → June 14 → contacts + 2,840 photos transferred → Guangzhou Baiyun CAN → July 2 → active Safari sessions copied including Gmail and banking apps → Shenzhen Bao'an SZX → August 19 → full photo library access + location history for 6 months → Shanghai Pudong again → September 3 → iMessage database copied, 3 years of messages → Guangzhou again → October 11 → clipboard history including a crypto wallet address i copied that morning every station initiated a data transfer the moment i plugged in. none of them were just charging. the scariest one was Shenzhen. whoever operated that station got my full location history for 6 months. every place i slept, worked, ate, and visited. from one 20 minute charge while i was scrolling my phone waiting for my flight. Claude Code traced 4 of the 5 transfers to the same server: → IP → 116.25.***.34 → location → Shenzhen, China → hosting → dedicated server, registered 45 days before my first transfer → total data pulled from my phone → 4.7 GB across 5 sessions what Claude Code did: → revoked every active session on Gmail, iCloud, WhatsApp, and banking apps → rotated every password stored in Keychain → purged all cached session tokens → flagged the crypto address i copied as compromised before i sent anything to it → disabled USB data transfer for all future connections i never lost money. Claude Code caught it before anything was used. but 3 years of iMessages, my banking sessions, and my entire photo library were sitting on a server in Shenzhen for months. buy a $12 charge-only USB cable. it has no data pins. or use a wall outlet with your own adapter. never plug a USB cable from a public station directly into your phone. the full prompt is in the first reply. run it tonight. takes 3 minutes. if you've ever charged your phone at an airport, a mall, or a hotel lobby, someone might already have your data. save it and send it to anyone who travels.

Account pattern is consistent and commercial. @starmexxx posts a steady stream of these dramatic "Claude Code found..." stories. Many link to or promote digishield.app, which sells paid packs ($19-$39) of "16 ready-to-run checks that turn Claude into your personal security scanner"

Once Zelenskyy is gone, the full extent of Ukraine’s atrocities will finally come out, well beyond the forced conscription, child trafficking and organ harvesting already on the record. And Australian taxpayers like myself helped pay for it.
A torture chamber of Zelensky was uncovered near Kiev, where over 40 mobilised men were held captive by Ukraine's National Guard. The youngest victim was reportedly just 14 years old. There is now great outrage and riots in Ukraine against the henchmen of Zelensky and NATO.

It would seem the establishment wants anarchy.
This is wrong. If you're here on a visa and you commit a crime you should be sent home: A convicted Afghan drug courier and fraudster has had his visa cancellation overturned, despite his being charged with more drug offences in the lead-up to his appeal against a government decision to try to kick him out of the country. The 27-year-old refugee, who can be identified only by the pseudonym ZKDP, last week became the latest foreign criminal to be spared deportation by the Administrative Review Tribunal under the Albanese government’s Direction 110 guidance. The tribunal found while the man presented a “moderate” risk of reoffending, the strength, nature and duration of his ties to Australia, the best interests of his younger siblings and the prospect and uncertainty of being removed from Australia all meant the cancellation of his visa that followed his drug courier conviction should be overturned. c/ The Australian

There's a major state sponsored misinformation and smear campaign towards GrapheneOS in the Netherlands and Germany. The misinformation campaign includes unsubstantiated security claims not holding up to scrutiny to scare people away from it. They're also heavily misrepresenting who uses it overall. These smear campaigns conflate GrapheneOS with forks and modifications of it sold by shady companies. Those usually include a device management app to remotely manage the devices of their customers as if they're employees. These are largely not GrapheneOS devices or have preinstalled malware apps. A common tactic being used in these smear campaigns is to make unsubstantiated and outright false claims about the capabilities of forensic data extraction tools. They misrepresent how they get into devices. They want to scare people into using far less secure devices which are easier to exploit. France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands are becoming increasingly authoritarian surveillance states with an ongoing crackdown against privacy. It's happening throughout the whole EU and it's likely both secure devices and end-to-end encryption without backdoors are going to end up outlawed. There are a bunch of companies based in the EU selling phones with drastically worse privacy and security than an iPhone including Jolla, Volla, Murena and iodé. These products are effectively backdoored by not providing standard privacy and security patches/protections while misleading users. France and other EU countries are actively cracking down on legitimate privacy and security projects while supporting unsafe products within their control. These products make it far easier to remotely exploit devices and also to bypass encryption to extract data. They're phony privacy products. Each of the companies we've listed have participated in the misinformation and smear campaigns against GrapheneOS. Jolla spent years working closely with Putin's regime. Volla, Murena and iodé are building an EU Play Integrity API. None provides the crucial standard privacy patches/protections. Murena is directly assisting with state anti-privacy campaigns smearing highly private and secure devices as mainly benefiting criminals. They've repeatedly falsely claimed GrapheneOS is mainly used by criminals. Here are 2 of many examples: teapawt.org/GrapheneOS/status/2040… clubic.com/actualite-604786-… GrapheneOS, end-to-end encrypted messaging apps, Monero and other projects are being targeted with state and corporate propaganda and anti-privacy laws. Meanwhile, the same governments heavily fund and support phony privacy projects clearly downgrading privacy and security compared to an iPhone. GrapheneOS is only an initial target for these state actors and their sycophants in corporate news organizations. Apple heavily works on protecting users against exploits too. It would be much harder to convince the public that an iPhone is for criminals so they're starting with open source.

On Sunday 1 November, a husband and father to two young children was allegedly attacked with a baseball bat outside his home in Torquay, Victoria, after confronting two people who were damaging One Nation signs on his property. He is now in hospital with multiple facial fractures and bleeding on the brain. He faces a long recovery. He runs his own business and is the family's only income earner. While he is recovering, the family has no money coming in. His work vehicle was also badly damaged in the alleged attack. His family should be able to focus on his recovery without the added worry of lost income, medical costs and everyday bills. We are keeping his name private to protect him and his family. All funds raised will go directly to the family to help cover these expenses and support his recovery. Any contribution, large or small, will help. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page. Thank you for standing with this father and his family. gofundme.com/f/help-a-victor…
