33 people are shot dead in South Africa every day. This week, the UN handed that country the gavel at its Arms Trade Treaty conference.
South Africa passed some of the strictest gun laws on earth. Citizens surrendered their guns under threat of prison. Then police tasked with destroying those guns sold them to street gangs.
More than 1,000 murders have been traced to those firearms, including hundreds of children.
The state took their guns and armed their killers.
And South Africa isn’t the cautionary tale at this conference. It’s presiding over it.
So I flew to Geneva and said it to their faces.
Full speech below.
I don’t understand. Does she really think she has a fighting chance in 2028?
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. This is the same person who thought rappers twerking on stage held a candle to an attempted assassination.

I can’t imagine how much this thing weighs.

I'm a 1K and stockholder who is calling for him to be sacked - immediately. He clearly doesn't understand economics.

There could not be a more idiotic and insensitive assumption than that guns lead to higher suicides.
Of all the things making the world unhappy, they blame the tool.
They're only a decade away from putting those Chinese factory suicide nets below skyscrapers.
62% of the “gun violence” deaths gun grabbers love to cite are suicides.
Their fix is to take the guns.
Yet all you have to do is look at Japan. Just to touch a hunting shotgun there, you sit through classes, mental health evaluations, drug tests, and police interviews with your family, friends, and neighbors. Then registration and yearly police inspections. Stop using it, and they confiscate it.
Japan’s suicide rate is still higher than ours.
Another example of gun grabbers using tragedy to push laws that don’t work.
Anti-Fascism: Holding historic landmarks, livelihoods, and public infrastructure hostage through violent means to get what you want.
Kinda like fascism.

Will the gun control skeletons hiding in James Talarico's closet come back to haunt him?
From voting against Constitutional Carry to restricting access to concealed carry permits, Talarico has shown to be an enemy of gun owners in Texas. Now, he wants a promotion to go after all Americans' gun rights.
Read more about Talarico's anti-gun record in the article below.
Some say the woman's mental denial and everyday responses are unrealistic.
Removing the zombie component, this is how most people handle critical incidents. Their brain denies the unthinkable and is stuck in a very large OODA loop.
Call me a boomer if you like (I'm X gen), but this dirtball is precisely who you want your daughter to avoid. And apparently they do.
I deeply appreciated that last night's @DanielDefense 25th anniversary was values-laden. Their motto: Honor God, Defend Freedom. Music by southern Christian rock star @brandonlake who tore it up!
How do you look at the CEO of the leading electric car company that led the charge toward putting solar panels in every house and think, “Why doesn’t he just solve climate change already?”
Stop tweeting doofus.
Things Elon Musk could do with $1Tn dollars:
- End world hunger
- Solve climate change
- Provide schooling for every child
- Reduce housing crisis
What Elon Musk does:
- Build a stupid car-toy with no practícal use, just to impress a bunch of idiots.
Tesla Roadster should be the last straw. #EatTheRich
